Today weas a pretty busy day. I worked in the morning and then in the afternoon I went to a Native American heritage event. Michael Loman of the Cherokee tribe shared with us some drum songs, flute songs, and dancing. It was super cool and I felt really honored to have him share his culture with us. I came back home and worked some more and then headed off to another library event in the evening. We made beach terrariums. It felt kind of weird because I made mine within like 5 minutes because I didn't paint mine like some people but I didn't want to get up and just leave so I fiddled around with it for another hour, lol. After that I came home and had dinner with my boyfriend and then chilled until bedtime.

Today was Juneteenth and I got the day off of work which was nice. I took a sleeping pill last night so I could have a really good night's rest and sleep in. It always makes me really drowsy and it's hard to wake up. I ended up waking up around 7:30am but was still sleepy so I passed back out until 10:30am. I never sleep that late so it was nice. Eventually I got up and started sorting through some drawers. I've been in the mood to get rid of some stuff. I puttered around until late afternoon and then went out to run a bunch of errands. In the evening I went to a book club meeting for my favorite book—Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir. Finally I came back home and then chilled a bit before heading to bed.
