Yeah I didn't know if I was getting the information from some of the users I put in charge of certain staff, and the event is kind of edging closer, and with stuff to do all week this week, I have only saturday to create the thread layouts and PM to the people in charge of the certain threads in order to be prepared for next week. =] Haha you probably understand though.

Well, I still want to handle the writing contest. I would honestly prefer that over the trivia game, considering I wanted to ask the staff questions of my own, but then everyone else just went ahead and I was then given the information that they gathered. =S

I'm still trying to turn it into good questions, but it's not working very well because it's not really the information I was hoping to work with. But is seems like the staff was pestered enough for information that I don't really want to bother them for even more.

Well what kind of questions do you plan on asking the staff instead then? I just thought it would be easier on the staff if we made a form where we could gather information and send it with the biography information form. But just PM me if you have another idea.

You can still make some good trivia questions though. And I put you in charge of the trivia questions because you thought of it, I liked it, and you know how to run it better probably.

Esmereina, the reason why I don't like you was because you completely ignored what was in front of your face. I didn't 'traumatize you'. You were being lazy and trying to get freebies you didn't qualify for. And then you went and whined about being told to actually read the first page of the thread.

No, your presence, as far as I'm concerned, is never wanted. In threads that don't belong to me, I leave you the hell alone. However, you aren't welcome in my own threads.

I'm dropping out. I offered to do the writing contest part before I ever even saw her name up there. Because her name wasn't there when I offered, or else I never would've offered it.

I want nothing to do with her.

And I wish that I would've at least been talked to about how we were going to do the trivia thing. Because I was waiting for a chance to discuss how we were going to do it, then it was just already done for me.

This whole thing has been frustrating. The idea was here ages ago, then the thread went dead, then suddenly everyone's scrambling around to get things done. It should've been done over time, not all thrown together just before the beginning of the event. It's sloppy and not good planning.

It seems you hate when staff members aren't shown respect, but you don't show much remorse for the regular members. Cricket, I believe your behavior in this thread was very disrespectful. I understand the Esmereina made a mistake. But it didn't truly affect you in any way at all. Other than the fact that you hate seeing others screw up. Because they're not quite as perfect or quick thinking as others. I can't see why someone would hold such a silly grudge for so long. Esmereina is a really great person. So she made a mistake, it's not the end of the world. And just because she's a part of this event, doesn't mean you have to bail out completely. I respect you for being honest and sharing your opinions. But let's all be reasonable here and get along.

Esmereina, I understand you may have been slightly embarrassed from your mistake. And you shouldn't let anyone else bother you with it. You learn, you move on. Although, I can understand if the person just won't lay off. It's very rude and annoying. Please understand though, not everyone is going to like you. That's how it is with everyone. I don't necessarily like a few people and people don't necessarily like me. It's just how life is. Just don't let those people bother you and you'll do fine.

Thanks Jen.. I appreciate it very much. I have a feeling Cricket said some stuff again.(I don't know though because I have him/her on ignore anyway..so I don't see the messages unless someone else quotes them on another post) And you are right.. I have to move on. Because I won't ever let one person dictate my life...not even my online life.

And I don't want Cricket to bail out either. Thats not what I want. I just want to be left alone. And seeing how my presence in this event seems to bother this person greatly...its a very sad thing. I just don't want to work directly with this person for obvious reasons. But ofcourse I have nothing to do with the Trivia portion...so Cricket is fine doing that. Its just the Art and Written portion are together...and just because I want this event to be awesome for the staff...no drama whatsoever...so thats why I need someone who isn't going to be disrespectful to me or to others. I have more tolerance for those who make honest mistakes. I do make mistakes. And I am not embarrassed for them because I learn from them. I can't be embarrassed over things that teach me to improve, right? I embrace my mistakes because the next time around I don't do the same mistake again.

My main objective is for the staff to be happy and feel happiness. Either Swift or Hayate will do wonderful job in the writing contest and if they should need any assistance I would happily help out their portion too... And I know they would do the same for me. So whom ever LH-chan chooses will be great.

I am just happy that all the Mods and Admins and Staff in general don't harbor disrespect in their hearts...thats why I love all of them.

What we all need to realize here, is that this is a user run event and if we want it to exsist - sloppily or not - then WE as menewshan people have to run it. We have to look past some teeny little issues on the internet and just say thank you and be done with it. ;] Im sure our lovely staff would'nt want to whipe up a bloody mess from a thrash-bash on the even threads ither, though. That'd be inconsiderate. So if cricket does manage to want to be in the event even though someone he does not get along with is in it, it might take maturity to deal with what your responcible for.
As for sloppy, its sloppy to leave an event this close to its starting date. Who has crickets information, if anyone? Because it'd be a little more self calming if someone knew what cricket knew, so we could do the trivia thing a little more organized, rather than flinging questions at the staff again.
Also, I need to know what Im specifically responcable for, so that I can be prepared. :]

P.S.: This isnt an "Appreciate the users" event, it's a "Staff appreciation" week. So lets all love each other! <3

1) You can ignore members? I had no idea.

2) Live and let live and let sleeping dogs lie. Bringing it up doesn't help much. You were wronged once, and something happened, and you can't change it. I understand that you have bad feelings from being questioned or whatever happened with Cricket and you in the past (I think I remember something vaguely), but please don't fuel old fires by bringing it up again. Unless something TRULY wrong happened. Then bring it up in private, not in a public thread.

And please, Cricket, remember that people are human and are not perfect.
