 True, but I have skin allergies kind of bad on my face so I have to be careful with those kind of products.
xD I am not even sure if I am going to do it yet. They may change the spirit weeks events for us, I dunno. Our new vice-principle is a witch, more or less. If we do, my outfit will be based of one of my menewsha avvies...The carnival one is just the tackiest for real life  |
Hrm...New...Just posting!
Well, to be honest, at the moment, I wouldn't use my avi for anything. She's quite nude. However, once I do get items for her, I do believe that I would cosplay as her. As for the making or buying aspect of it, I don't believe I would make the clothes. I would buy clothes that are similar to her outfit and leave it at that!
|
I'd cosplay my avie, if I had the items and the place to do it, I look a bit like a medieval serving wench at the moment, so I wouldn't be flashing a load of flesh, finding a white wig would be the biggest problem I think!
|
I might... I would freeze if it was on Halloween...
It would be fun though. ;) I've considered it. |
hah xD yay im glad others are considering it too ;D
|
So Tre, you going for the troll hair too? That's gonna require some monster back-combing
|
of course i would! i'd get a wig through, don't want to dye my hair black :P
and makes it easier to spike too xD |
 Someone should cosplay as Channah. I would LOVE to see that.
|
haha xD that would be wicked!
|
EVERYONE should cosplay as Channah! That would be beyond freaky
|
Funnily enough, I had a dream I was making a cosplay of my avatar last night. >__>;
If I was capable enough at sewing to do it, I totally would. XD It'd be fun to be a pirate, or even my other goofy avatars. I'd be happy to dress up like my more favorite Gaia avatars too. (Or an OC even, although I already made a shirt IRL like one of my characters. >__>; *cough*nerd*cough*) |
I actually saw a few people at Dragon*Con who looked as if they were dressed like Channah... I know they weren't, but it was enough to make me double-take. XD; I wish I'd gotten photos of the ladies... It was really amazing.
|
hah thats a cool shirt ferra! *reconises the doll in your siggie* xD
LOL you serious? damn that would of been great to see! |
The first lady I saw with some sort of costumed marching band as they came down the steep escalator to the Atlanta Subway access from Peach Tree Street. She had purple hair in a beehive, and old cats-eye glasses with rhinestones and looked like a wonderfully crazy old(er, not old) bat - but very cool. She wasn't wearing a flowered muumuu type outfit, but I think something black.
The second lady also had purple hair, with the same little curls at the cheekbone level, and I think similar glasses... but her hair wasn't beehive. I think she was wearing the right kind of purple dress and it might have had flowers on it and she was the right age. But she also had a flower pot on her head in place of a hat. XD |
xD That may have not been a cosplay. People in atlanta do some crazy crap.
Hopefully it was though. I want to go to atlanta now!! Ugh! I don't have enough hair to do Channah. I could do the weapon shop girls....but I am not comfortable enough with my body for that  |
::laughs:: I'm pretty sure it was either cosplay or someone dressing-up in some sense, at least. I was at a convention, after all, and the train station was underneath one of the convention hotels. :D Everyone else in the band was dressed up similarly to the lady. They were probably there for the parade. XD
|
lol, lets just hope. Or we have a army of channah's on the lose somewhere.
Hmm...I just realised I have almost all the items or materials to make the avvie I have now. <3 I personally love the skirt I have for it. |
*hides her Army of Channah induction pamphlet and purple wig*
Well it was either that or the Red Hat Society. >__>; |
I want a pamphlet! I'll join the Purple Beehive society!
I'd SO do a mass Channah cosplay, that would really be the funniest thing ever. No need to worry about getting cold in your more typical cosplay outfit either, plenty of flesh coverage from a muumuu  Ferra, I remember when you showed us that shirt before, it's so cute, like a little marshmallow alien ^^ CK, I feel the need to kick your ass for not getting pictures of those ladies now! >.< |
I have enough hair to do Channah, lol. Maybe that's who I'll be for Halloween...
|
I wanna see Moma with a purple beehive!
|
That would be a sight to see :P

I was going up the escalator and she was going down for the first lady. XD And I wasn't carrying the camera! As for the second lady, she sat in front of me at the "Evil Geniuses for a Better Tomorrow: 6th Annual Recruiting Session, Membership Drive and Bake Sale". <-- My second year going to that panel. I love that panel. Even if I had my camera (I didn't. :c) I couldn't have got more than the purple hair and flowerpot. XD Quote:
EDIT AND UPDATE: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=71vH59S04LM <-- This is a video from the Dragon*Con parade! The first Channah lady shows up for a few seconds 3:13 into the video. :D |
OMG!!! :XD
That is just so funny. One day, there'll be a Legion of Channah in that parade >.< |
Haha. XD If we put together a Menewsha cosplay group, currently the character I'd go for is Vicktoria. Not that she's my very-favorite, but she's the one I think I could pull off the easiest. XD (Though, yes, there is still the whole outfit to put together...) Either Vicktoria or Nalin Sun. I'd have to bind myself flat, but I could probably pull off being bishie. :B
