My thing is I like to over-accessorize <3

My male avatars almost exclusively without exception need to have a head accessory (mask, wings, glasses, hat, hairpin) and gloves. Other than that, it's just a case of matching, even if that means an outfit that's pretty "out there."

My female avatars are always dressed realistically, though, probably because, being male, I've never dressed like a girl and live vicariously through my avatar. :)

I always make sure my avis have socks on, whether or not they're visible. XD

I get obsessive about matching, though. >_>

I dunno... all I know is I like having my inventory organized by set, shorts, jeans, etc. I like to match I guess, but I have to have shorts or a skit on my avi, if she has a shirt on she needs something on the bottom. Can't have her nakkid down there unless she's in a swimsuit, and even then...

On Gaia I have a tendancy to dress for the seasons... I kinda do that here, but the stuff is so pretty, and once I find an outfit I like I ussally leave her for awhile.

I used to have the habit of also not using one single item on an other outfit lol
But now that my inventory is bigger I like to fool around and match all the items into various different items, turns out I can make more different avatars with the "original made sets" when I mix and match with them. ^^

I never wear socks in my shoes if they don't show, but then again my avi almost always wears socks and/or stockings.

And for the underwear, if it isn't visible, then you can be sure it is just the standard underwear my avi is wearing. I don't have a lot of underwear anyways, except for the purple panties. XD

I don't know, but I just find it a waste of gold to buy underwear you can't even see. =P

But there are these bustiers that have these folds sticking out of the back which are visible when wearing clothes, who can make a nice finishing touh to your avatar, I want to get those. In that case I would wear different underwear under my avi, but that would be just because a part of it would be visible. XD

I always tend to pick one item I like and revolve a whole outfit around it. But I also have the tendency to just buy stuff that I see that I like. Ending up with lots of items I like a lot but that totally don't go with eachother. lol

I like to dress for the season, more like special days like halloween and xmas. But if I feel like wearing something summery in winter I also don't have a problem with it.

I usually wear whatever rare or combination of rares I particularly like at the time or am proud of obtaining in my quest. I am wearing one of my first "real" outfits x3

Sometimes I have items on that can't be seen, but that's usually because I'm too lazy to unequip them >.>;

I'm a big fan of making sure my avitar's colors all go together. I'll generally stick to white, red, purple, black, blue and green. The colors can be mixed and matched as long as they go together and look good as an outfit. Else wise I'd be screaming bloody murder. LOL.

I like to make sure my avatar look good, both in colour as well as just over all look.

I even if I keep them simple as she is now. I still try to make sure she is not ikky.

I love making outfits, and usually I dress my avatar like I would in real life..

I always have to match.

It doesn't really matter to me if it doesnt make sense, or if I'd ever wear in in reality. And I never consider weather.

I just have a minor case of OCD and always have to match and have everything evened out.

I enjoy blacks and whites. A little splash of color to liven it up. I also like sparse clothing no layering or anything. A nice shirt, pants, shoes and some accessories and my avatar is good to go.

I like trying new things and items I haven't before. Right now I'm forcing myself to use my least favorite hairstyle.

I'm seeing some really spiffy-looking avatars here. I'm really jealous.

All I'm going for is a dashing, colorful look. I guess some folks wouldn't think I match at all....

I usually abuse complimentary colors to burn people's eyes with. xDD Bright colors are awsome as well. Even if only one color is eyeburn worthy, the outfit is a success. I guess it has something to do with me liking really bold colors..and obnoxious things.

Also I base my outfits off of 'would I actually wear that?' I want my avatar to be a semireflection of myself, mostly with personality over actual looks. Well, its true that I'm a zombie...though I'm better at hiding the whole 'walking-dead' thing. You'd be suprised how negatively people treat you...

I think my avatar is how I would *like* to dress. If I had the guts.

Have you gone over to the purple palace thread in Menewsha Nations? There are quite a few who post over there. (I post also, even tho i'm not purple. They aren't prejudiced there).
