I was earning a lot of gold, mind you, but with an event looming within the next few weeks of when I joined, I wanted to make sure I had enough gold on-hand to take advantage of Menewsha's half-price commons store. :3

Our next event is starting December 22nd, and we will have a shop that sells half-price event commons (ie: new clothing released during an event) - so if you stick around you can easily earn several new pieces of clothing, plus your event items. :)

I didn't spend any time in my undies. xD But it did take me a long time to earn -my- first item. and it was only a pair of earrings! D: 150 gold used to take a loooong time to get...since we had no games then.

Earning gold is gowing very slow for me as well.. x_x I try to post as much as possible, and play the games. But i'm really bad at those ^^; Usually I end up dying, and getting not more than 3 gold xD;

I now have a pair of pants! I got the broken heart ones because I liked the color scheme. Now I need to save up for a shirt. I wonder which one will match my pants.

I know hoiw you feel it took me all day to get pants. . . they should make a noob set of cloths just so you don't start off naked.

Hey, at least Menewsha gives us underwear! There's at least one avatar site that starts you out quite literally naked.

Congratulations ^^ It didn't take me that long to get a shirt as I joined when the older games {fishing} were around.

@dizuki: The topic of giving items to newbies has already been discussed, it should be in the Site Feedback forum if I remember correctly. Giving items to newbies when us older members have been here for a long time and earned everything ourselves would be fairly unfair ^^

My goal is a shirt. XD I've got the skirt, and I can do without shoes, but my little pixel girl doesn't look very comfortable in just her bra there.

But I'll probably wait until stuff goes half-price. Because I am cheap.

I just wanted to clarify, that in the special event store the new commons added for the event will be half price. When the event ends, the shop closes and the commons get moved to the normal shops. Not all commons go half price, just the ones in the special event store. :3
