I have gotten all the votes in now so I'll announce the theme shortly. It's going to be close between two of the choices.

That's great. I would have loved to do the whole summer ghost thing but the circus sounds like lots of fun too.

They both seemed different then the norm and like a lot of fun. But I think the cirus will be really fun. We could each have a theme (clown, tight rope walker, fire breathing, mime, contortionist, animal trainer, etc.) |
Yeah that would be cool. For the next order of business I think we need to go over the list of thread suggestions and decide what to keep and what doesn't fit the theme. Also I'd like to have a new mascot or two that will fit the theme.
I've have a basic timeline that I have made to help me keep things on track. I'll be sharing it with you guys to see what you think of it. Also if any of you know anyone that could or would be willing to help out with an art auction please let me know. I'd like to hold the auction in May. |

Or, do they have those pop the balloon games at Circuses? Also, circus hearkens back to the Carnival of 2007. Not that that's a bad thing. And BBR, you might want to edit the title to read summer circus instead of pool party. ^^ |
The balloon game would be really good.
We could make up other circus games to play too. |
Yeah batteship and the treasure hunt are out. So will be the photography and one or two of the others may be replaced for things that will fit the theme better.

The photography one could still work. Just change it to a circus theme. "Take a picture of something that reminds you of the circus." Lions at the zoo, clowns, anything.
I think almost everything will work with a little tweaking. |
I rather love the idea of find the clown... as a treasure hunt thing.
