I keep making mistakes!
Okay,so I just joined Menesha yesterday. And I double posted so I got a fair warning. So I read the rules over....and I thought that I had everything under control. ((By that I mean I thought I understood the rules)).... So I was on Gaia...and my friend made a topic I asked questions about it...and soo on,I didn't think I would have to ask him if I could use his topic for a different site....So I used it....and I got another warning...now I think I'm just confused.... :sarcasm: Discuss: Did you have as many problems. Are the rules confusing or is it just me.... Reading the rules over....CLEARLY. |
Since I take it that this thread is discussing Menewsha's rules, I've moved it to Community Discussions (since the topic is about Menewsha). :) If you meant that people were meant to discuss rules of any site and you want it moved back to General Discussions, just let an online moderator know and we'll move it for you. :)

Haha, it's okay. It takes a while to get used to the different rules on here.
Warnings will expire, so it's not a problem. :3 Just try not to break too many rules while you're learning. You don't want to get something that doesn't expire. If you're not sure, you can always ask. :) |
:sweat: I think that the rules here are a bit strict.... I was even afriad to post on here at first. Don't ask. Like Siri said, it is going to take a while to get used to this site...

Sometimes I read rules over and over, and still miss something.D8 EDIT: As for the people who think the rules are too strict... Eh, I think they're perfectly reasonable. Granted, when I first joined the site, I thought they were strict too. But of course, most people from Gaia would think so. (I'm too a former Gaia member) This site is small however & I would think that double posting isn't very necessary in order to bump a thread. My exchange could go a whole day without a post and still be on the front page. Really, once you guys get the hang of it, You'll see they're not that strict.:3 It's just coming from Gaia where things were a lot more.. Loose with rules, of course we're going to seem a bit uptight. |
Double posting should be a rule on every forum. In my opinion, it makes things a lot more clean and less hectic.
Gaia is like an awful, wild jungle. I rarely go on there. |

Awww, lol, it's alright. Especially since now, a lot of warning will expire. Since your mistakes were minor, they won't be held against you too long. No worries. :' ) I myself didn't have too many problems with the rules, but my sister got a warning early on as well. It was a simple mistake though, so I'm sure it's expired by now. |
