As a "dress up" site, it attracts more females more than males. Most avatar sites are like this.

yeah i was just having that thought as well like two minutes ago up untill this post i havent seen any guy avatars but it does make sense that since this is a "dress up" site more girls would come but thats kind of stereotypical.

i have just noticed in general that on avatar sites that there are more females users then males. or ites just the fact that there are more female bases used then male base. and the argument is always that girls have more items to use then men

Yeah, I was just thinking about that yesterday. I guess guys like games with more action in them.

It's pretty much this way on every avatar site ever.

But honestly, it is true, that there's more to do with female fashion; both online AND in real life. It seems like men's clothing can't be too terribly creative/colorful lest it be deemed unmasculine/feminine. Sad but true.

Maybe if we had more items that appealed to male users, we'd get more male users.
Don't attack me, but I'll use Gaia as a refrence. Yes I know they've got more users as a whole, BUT they also seem to have a larger male user-base. And I think it's because many of their items can APPEAL to guys.

Although I think Channah is doing a wonderful job in helping with items that appeal to guys. Yeah...I've seen the decapitated heads.

Almost all the guys I know on this site do use female avatars, just because the clothing is better. XD But I think dressing up is always going to appeal to girls more than guys.

It's because Gaia's can't take socializing Via. Internet?

I don't know... I want to say that's true... But it might not be... I just enjoy making friends and meeting new people, but I know not all guys are actually into doing just that.

Since breeds have both male and females.

It's because a lot of these sites have tons of cutesy things. Since Gaia starting making more badass male items, there have been a lot more males around.

I'd venture even to say that it's 50/50 on Gaia, while here it's like 85/15.

I have been noticing that females do indeed out number males on this site.
It is a bit weird, though makes sense, too... since this is a doll -based dress-up site, eh?

You'd be surprised.

It's kind of awkward with so many girls, especially in the roleplay section, and you see a Yaoi Highschool and all of the rpers are girls and I'm like @[email protected] no thanks.

Oh really? ;) Some of us tend to stay genderless here on mene... I noticed that for guy especially... plus in the social world girls are accepted of being "chatty", whereas for guys people call it "weird", so I suppose culture has a bit to do with it...

I should do a psychology test on this someday... How many guys out of 100 are chatty vs 100 girls... would be interesting ^_^

Haha. Thats true it really is. But for some reason alot of guys from my school made females instead of males. You don't really know if a guy person has a girl controlling it and vis-versa.

Well, I'm using a male base, but I'm actually a girl. It's very hard to tell who's what in places like this. But I guess it keeps things interesting.
