What do you use your mule for? // Discuss all things mule-related
 

The title speaks for itself~ =P
But for basic definition's sake, a mule is an extra account aside from your main account.

So, we all know that we're only allowed one mule on the site. =) So, my question is, if you do have a mule, what exactly do you use him/her for? Is your mule only for storage of goldies/hoards and for earning more gold through games? Is your mule an extra earner for event item currencies during events? Do you actually post with your mule? Does your mule act as a manager for a thread/charity?

Also, do you bother dressing up your mule? Is your mule's gender different or the same as your main's? Why or why not?
AND, if you don't have a mule, why don't you have one? =O Too lazy? Have no use for them? Or is there another reason why?

I guess I should start off though. xDD;;
I use my mule mainly for the storage of my savings and hoards. =P I also use my mule for earning event currencies when it's event time, but only through petitioning/trick-or-treating/ways of earning them that don't have to make me post. ^^;;
Also, my mule dresses in all CI's/EI's only (thereby almost with no actual clothes at all), because I want all the commons on my main so that I can play with them. =P

Well, this here mule is my little bank/ safety deposit box thing. Keep some extra EI's and CI's and all the stuff I want to sell on here. SOMETIMES I will earn a bit of gold on here. But I can barely max out on my main.

She also helps me get event currency through attacking/ petitioning. Barely post on here.

As the gender of my main is constantly changing, I'll just say that Ayumui is usually female... Well, as long as I wish it... I might sometimes make my mule and main look the same. Tis all for good fun.

My poor mule has been abandoned. D: I only sign on occasionally if I want to collect some extras bits for events. I don't use him to store items or anything, he just sits there all lonesome with zero posts on his account.

Someday I'm sure I'll find a use for him though.

I use my mule as a moneybox, if I need to save up for something I put all my money on her. If I get extra event items I also store them on her until I find some needy newbies to give them to.

Before i bought my vday pendant, i used to store all my extra cis and eis in my mule.
i was basically using it as a storage because i like being organized and i dont like extra's in my main. >.<;

anyways since i traded all of my extra cis and eis i no longer use my mule as a storage... i log in once in a while to check on things and spy on people. :ninja:

It's a storage shed basically. I store stuff on there that I don't want to store on my main. Also store gold on there, ocasionally. Of course, I usually rob it whenever I need the extra coins for my main account. I don't really play the games on either of my accounts. But sometimes I'll get on there and post around.

I mainly use my mule as a way to make extra money say for an event, when I'm feeling especially motivated. I also will eventually use him as storage if I have extras of a particular item, or I'm trying to save up I'll put the money on him so I don't have to look at it.

He's kind of dressed. He has pants and a rose. That's it for now though, and it's only cause I felt bad for him being naked. Oh and if you haven't picked up I made him a different sex than me. Just because I'm not going to want to store my female commons on them as I love playing in my wardrobe too much! :heart:

I barely use my mule at all...

Since my main is always female, my mule will always be male. It allows me to play with different items that way. :yes: Unfortunately for him, I spend so much gold on outfitting my main account, he rarely gets new clothes (even during events). Most of his items are when I have extra event items that I think would look good on him. >_>; And he is not allowed socks/hose or shoes - ever. That's the law. (This also allows me to save some gold when I buy new outfits for him. LOL.)

Mostly I just use him to test things to see if users can/can't see them like they're meant to (or meant not to). But I also use him to collect the "one-per-account" rares or from site give-aways. Very rarely, I'll use him to participate in events and even more rarely to collect gold from playing games. Generally, whatever gold my mule earns is for him to buy clothes with and I just rarely have the time/interest to do such things. >_>;

I use my mule to store extra items so they don't clutter my inventory on my main account, and also because i wanted the name xD but now i wish i got another name, but then i'll miss the current name...its confusing >.>; lol

My mule runs my charity now, I can't remember if I posted with her much beforehand, but she's mean and yells at people, so totally unlike me :angel: I got a second mule after starting up my charity, because I didn't want to get all the items mixed up. He looks after extra event items and so on for me, and that's all he gets to wear too xD I'm far too stingy to buy him any clothes! Though I may take pity on him and lend him some of my unisex stuff once the weather starts getting colder :lol:

I use my mule for the gold making, and extra item stuff. It's kinda intersesting when you know how to play a game right XD

Other than that it's useless to me. But I love my mule! *huggles rom-chan*

My mule's mainly just a cosplay mule that doesn't do much...The only items he has in his inventory are stuff to wear xD I store all the rest on my main...though I might move some stuff over in the future since my inventory's getting harder and harder to maintain with all the stuff @[email protected] I have problems finding the right item or forget about them...

I play Games with my mule nearly everyday...it's a shame to let the 500g go to waste, after all. :P Sometimes I forget though...but I usually don't use him to participate in the events, only posting occasionally in the Word Games or a random thread that I have interest in if I happen to run into it by chance.

And yes, he is the same gender as my main, since I always use male avatars and he is a cosplay mule, and a female Sephiroth is just creepy.

So... after reading this thread I went off and made a mule... for the sole purpose of taking the name. Probably will use him as storage. (I like having a mule with a different gender)

Hmm, I don't have a REAL mule, I don't think at least Lol. But I do remember I use to use my brother's account as a mule since he's lost total interest. I'd just use it to help me organize my inventory since I have quite a few and my computer is slow. :P

I'm a mule myself, and I get used for making gold and stuffness. Although I was made first, I get used as a mule because my master is kinda strange like that.

And my master is not a guy, neither am I.

I use my mule as a storage account. I hoard spares and gold on him. If I had the spares in my account, I'd lose track of them. If I had the gold on my account, it wouldn't stay there for very long.

I actually don't have a mule. I stopped by to see if I should think about creating one... Hmm. They do seem to come in handy.

If I did, I suppose I would use it for gold hoarding. lol

Mine gets used as a storage account for all my extra items. Anything that I have more than one of gets stuffed away on there to be sold later on for funds for commons.

It's a female, like this one. I tend to use females since that's what I am in real life.

I don't often use her actually. I guess I only made her because when I first signed up not so long ago, I came half way through the celestial parade event thing and I wanted to try and earn at least ONE of each item. I almost did. I just didn't get the silver lyre. Which in retrospect I would have had more use for then the star eaters hair/wig thing.

I don't play enough of the games on here to warrant using her as a gold mule. I don't have enough gold for my own avatar yet alone for others so I don't use it as a charity mule. I don't have enough items to use her to hoard things.

I don't like my characters to be naked though, so even if this account gets hacked (not that it has anything valuable on it or that I'd fall for a scam or anything), then I can use my mule for an account. I'm not sure if I would be allowed to ask the Moderator team to shut down my main account though if it did get hacked. Because if it was hacked I could possibly still use the password retrieval system to change my password if it was still connected to my e-mail address. If it wasn't attached to my email address I wouldn't be able to prove/do anything about it.

I could also use my mule for having a second character in a role play. I haven't done it yet but it's an idea that I could do. I'm not sure if that's against the rules or not though.

My other account (who I don't like to call a mule just because it feels derogatory--xD ignore me, I'm weird) mostly acts as storage. He has all of my extra sets. I also occassionally wander around on him when I feel like it. He also helps me get sets during events.

Oh, and he plays games every day. Usually, the gold I make on this account goes towards commons, and the gold I get on his account goes towards the month's CIs.

My mule only comes out when there is an event going on. I use her to get extra items. she is wearing something from an event that was cheap. I may start using her more as I love the new game, attack of the fan girls, so I might reach my 500 point cap with my main, but, I doubt it. I have often thought about using her to store things, but in the end decide that it is so much nicer to have every thing on one account so that I can dress my avatar with less work.

Cami, I remember someone (her exact name escapes me now xDD) feeling the same way, so I think she started calling her mule her bunny or something. ^^;; So you could try that? =O

And Across the Universe, a mule is good if you think you have enough time on your hands to max out gold on him/her as well as on your main, or if you have a lot of items. =P Or, well, it has many uses, although if you plan on staying on Mene for a long time getting a mule I think would be beneficial. xDD;;
