I found it in google. I wanted to try and get back into avatar sites after leaving Kinsaki after the great crash and I typed 'avatar forum site' into google and this was one of the first to be displayed. Gaia was the first but I don't like the way the site is run or even the bases so the site was an automatic no-no for me. Though I am glad I found this site, it is lovely here!

Someone was mocking it as a copycat of Gaiaonline, so I clicked it to see how similiar it was, but in the end I got addicted to the Gaiaonline "copycat"~ |

I don't remember exactly but it was either through another avatar site, most likely Ernya or from when I googled for avatar sites once. Oh wait, Solia, that was probably it. I found quite a few of the other avatar sites I am with at Solia.

I'm on Poupee Girl and I was using an item viewer that a member created and there was an ad for Menewsha there. I like the bases here and thought I'd give it a try. I've never really tried another avatar site before, unless Poupee counts. I thought about Gaia, but so many people complain about that site.

I saw adds on TekTek a couple of months ago but didn't pay much attention to them. I'm very active in the "Over 30 & Gaian" guild but that's all I do there anymore except at event time. So when I saw an add again on Facebook I decided to see what it was like here. I've only been here for a few hours but I feel pretty comfortable. I think the Literary forum and games'll be my favorite hangouts here! :D

I also saw an ad for this on tektek.org, and my curiosity got the best of me! :) I'm glad it did though, since I like Menewsha quite a bit more than Gaia.

A friend from Gaia referred me here. Its a lot nicer than gaia, such a laid back atmosphere.

I just clicked at Face book. I was looking for an avatar and i found it. I never play or been in a comunity like this one so a guess im giving it a try! so far its been fun

To be completely honest, I was getting a bit tired of Gaia. I was getting really tired of not being able to buy anything, because of that darned inflation. ;A;
So I used the magical power of... *drumroll please* Google! xD I just searched (albeit a bit stupidly) something like "community avatar sites", and I so thus ended my journey... I'm glad I found Menewsha, because since I haven't been on Gaia for -ages- (maybe a year or so? o_o), I really didn't want to go back ^_^'' |

Hmm...the majority of people in the several first posts mention 'Gaia' and 'TekTek'. I saw a Menewsha ad while waiting for my TekTek to load. I was like "Oh, the characters are cool" and then I googled the website. I'm still pretty attached to Gaia, even though alot of things there kind of tick me off. Menewsha is cleaner and has nicer people, in my opinion. :) |

I decided to check it out, and I like it, so decided to join. I wouldn't say it's a copycat site at all, otherwise I wouldn't stay >,< but that is how I discovered it! |
Well I am staying at my cousins house for the next two weeks while my mum is on holiday to Barbados with her new husband and I saw that my cousin had an account here so I asked if she could make one for me. So here we are. Thats how I became a member of Menewsha.

Hard to remember, but I believe someone I was chatting with on Gaia recommended Menewsha to me.
