well if you had the option then I guess it would be Ok, but usually the TV is on in the background or I am listening to my own tunes so I don't really get the benefit of it xD

I haven't found any sounds either. Don't really want sounds though. I usually have itunes, or my tv on. I like that kind of background noise rather than little techno game sounds. D8

I actually have my laptop on mute most of the time so I didn't notice... I think a mute option and a playlist option would be nice for those who like that kind of stuff, but this site seems to thrive on simplicity and cleanliness. Too many gadgets and do-dads would mess up the cleanliness mojo!

I don't think sounds on Mene would be the best idea, unless one had an option to keep them off as long as they'd like to. Some people may want the sweet little sounds the site might make, but many would be annoyed and probably repulsed by them.

The games have sound, btu that's it as far as I can tell. I never really thought about it though.

Yeah, I have to agree with everyone. I like to watch tv or listen to itunes while on Menewsha, so I wouldn't want any sounds going on while on here.

Websites with sound bug the living daylights out of me, it reminds me of when AOL was the "cool" thing to have and every body and her mother had a web page full of midi files and dumb sparkly gifs.

Ahh I am so glad personal web pages became face book and live journal. Those pages hurt my eyes and ears.
