What should I invest in?
 

I have 1.1k gold, most from the Celestial Deck party game, rest from games and posting. I want to buy something that will maintain it's value and possibly increase over time, such as EI's and CI's. Commons don't work as investments. Anyways, my question is: What item do you think I should invest my gold in?

That sounds like a good possibility. I'll work on some gaming while waiting for more ideas lol.

This month's CIs are very nice and are receiving great reviews from many people. So try and get a set, the sets usually go for 2k during the month they are released.

I think when it comes to CI's you have to look at it in a broad view. Do they look like something that plays in a big geek-dom? If so they'll probably do really well (I'm taking this from my experience on Gaia, for example, anything Naruto related has prices out the wazoo).

Also anything that is super cute (again from Gaia knowledge) does well because it feeds right into the chibi loving or girly habits (not meaning any offense XD ) of people

You might want to snatch one of the August CIs.... you know people with Fox Items or Contact lenses. >.>;;
Or my personal Favourite this year, April's Evil OverLord and May's Star Catchers. I've noticed how those items are rare to find in the exchange nowadays, even though they were only released this year. And I also notice how they usually get high offers from buyers more than the other CIs of this year.

Other than the obvious bigs (Valentine's '07, St. Patrick's '07, Oriental Fan, King&Queens Crowns, Panda Slippers)....

This topic brings me back to something I've been meaning to nag some of you older exchangers (in terms of being around here longer/exchanging - in terms of profit - longer than most) to teach me the tricks of the trade. >w> I'd love to get into exchanging, on a hardcore scale. ;>

I'm in an intense AP Economics class this year, so perhaps that'll help me as well. D;

What about the Blind Justice? I thought that one was pretty popular, but I'm not really in the loop when it comes to exchanging. *doesn't sell things*

Blind Justice was popular at the time, but I don't see many people requesting it lately.

But I admit to not doing heavy duty scouring of the Exchange. I just scroll, usually.
