Does anyone else know about and use the "Who's Online?" Feature?
 

Today was I went to my User Control Panel, I decided to use the Forum Jump located underneath "New Subscribed Threads".

After pressing the arrow from the drop down menu, I saw "Who's Online". It intrigued me so I pressed it and low and behold, it listed all the users AND guests who are currently on menewsha and what they were doing/looking at. Quite amazing really.

I also noticed something in the list of guests that was weird: names such as "MSNBot Spider", "Google Spider", and "Yahoo! Slurp Spider". What is that?

Did anyone else know of this feature? If so, do you actually use it?
What are your thoughts on this?

Lol, the spiders are just that. Search engine spiders, or crawler bots as they are also known. I personally use the Who's Online feature a lot, but then it's my job to spy on people ;)

lol, I figured that would be the case. It is just really weird seeing those listed and named.
I was amazed to see that list though. xD And find it strangely amusing it exists.

I always thought the only list was the one at the bottom of the forums page. xD

I know about it, but I never really use it. It's useful sometimes if you talk to someone a lot, like your bff or whatever..but *shrugs* I don't know anyone that really uses it personally.

I know about the feature on the bottom of the forums, lolz. xDD;; But never the extended link to the actual one. o_o;; How interesting! =O That's an awesome discovery right there. =P Thanks for pointing it out then. :>

I do not actually think of it as a "big brother" type of deal.
But I have always wondered where all these users were, because they definitely were not in the forums. It is actually cool to see what most people are doing, and how the sites activity varies.

I use it when i feel like snooping on certain peoples xD

I didn't know there was an extra page! Why have I not seen this? It's great seeing where you're all hiding, muahaha.
