i like meybe gaia more becouse i get gold faster there and i have lots of friends there and here i got to work hard for gold and i dont have friends T.T

@ color - friends have to be earned =) and true gold is harder to earn here... but if you put it into perspective... to be honest they have extreme inflation so their gold earning has to be upped.
To make friends on menewsha is pretty easy... =) go join a hangout, events are perfect for making friends and finding people to chat with |
Both sides have their perks. Menewsha got a lot better than Gaia for having the ability to pick out your own hair color.

I enjoyed gaia, but menewsha has a lot more nicer people. i just started (as you can clearly see) and i already like it here more. Gaia is a little easier to navigate through, this is taking me a bit to understand how it all works..

There is some good and bad things that are on gaia that is not on menewha. However, from a purely rp standpoint, I think that the rpers on here are better because this site has not yet become focused on 'pretty posts', which can take away from the actual rp.
Overall...I think that menewsha it better, though it is a lot harder to get gold >< |
This may be my first real day here on Menewsha, but I would have to say that this site is so much better. Things look pretty cheaper...but then again it's more harder to get enough gold on here. :/ You have to be a big fan on talking a lot in threads. But still...Menewsha is better!

i use to love gaia. It was my favorite place to be, everything about it was great in my eyes. I was there for six years( 16 now ). But the years went on and it just got worse, the people were ruder, there were so many beggars. I couldn't stand the beggars, always wanting things from you. The things they sold on gaia became to much to even handle, and they added weird shops so you had to use real money you made in real life I got sucked into it. I spent a bunch of money on those gaia cash cards. To think i could have something better right now. It became to much to handle, it was easy but people weren't mature, they were nasty. And to many people knew about it.
So yes, menewsha is better. i like how calm it always is, how simple things are. I mean yeah of course Mene can use somethings but this place isn't extreme like gaia came to be. It's easier to talk to people here and make friends. I glad i joined. |
I honestly prefer Mene. Simpler yet functional.
Not to mention less messy. I used to be one of the more active users way back here on Mene but am finding it hard to come back but I'm doing my best. I logged on Gaia and found that I could no longer go back posting the way I used to. No interaction at all. And what's a forum site for if you don't interact right? T_T :< It's hard to come back to sites that have no warmth you know. Even if there is, I feel shy and a little unsure but I'm going to do my best. D: ...Also, people are more generous here. XD Believe me. <3 |
I started yesterday. And I love this place better than gaia. I got banned for another person's fault. Psh. Plus there are to many little kids. Here, kids would think its easy to get money. That's HOW they get HOOKED! Once they get money, the want more. On gaia money is easy. Post one word. **70 GOLD** Here you post, "Bump" you get a warning. You post it several more times hoping to finally get 70 gold. You don't, you get BANNED. So, yeah I like it here better without 7 year olds. :-D

I am forever loyal to my dear Gaia how ever horrifyingly low it may fall. To this day I am still a...semi active user there, with the same username I have now here. xD
I Like mene because it seems so small compared to Gaia. there's a sense of community. And people are people. <.< Not gold hungry item whores like even I tend to turn into on Gaia. .///. there is just something about Gaia I prefer. Perhaps its the chatter box with its randomness. xD But I am very fond of Mene too. :3 If only there were a middle ground. TT A TT |

gaia is interesting but its hard for me to get gold and make friends, plus theres more nice ppl here than on gaia

It's hard for me to say. I join this community two days ago, and I joined Gaia three years ago. For now, I'd have to leave it at a draw. I like Gaia because 1. Most of my friends use it. 2. Its more popular than Mene. I like this site, so far, because 1. It has funner games, and some classics too. 2. They seem to care more about their users than gaia does. The only reason I still get on gaia is to hang out with my friends on there. I think this website has more potential then Gaia, so in that way, it is better.

Recruit your friends~ I think the pixel art here is actually better than over there, and it's what initially drew me in. The community is what made me stay, though. And as Mene grows, there are more and more cool options, like the ability to pick the color/s of your hair now O_O. I just got back from a break and I was amazed to find out I could pick up my exact hair color, and even the highlights *_*

I cannot say for sure which is better. But the pixel art of Menewsha is very good, and that's what led me to join.

The key to riches is making friends in threads. The more you interact with everyone, the more gold you get. I know the first outfit is hard, but before you know it, you'll have lots of stuff. And unlike Gaia, the gold count doesn't depend on how many times you've posted. It's always a steady income ^^

I'm not sure which one I like better. I mean, I just joined, so I don't think I've formed an opinion about Menewsha yet.
I haven't been too happy with Gaia lately, but I have gold and a great avie. So, I guess I'll just have to wait until I get some gold before I can give a definitive answer. >.> But I think I'm going to like Menewsha more. |
I more or less quit Gaia about two years ago, though I still log in on occasion just to mess with my avi.
But I do like Mene much better so far. Everyone seems much warmer and there's more sense of community. The pixel art is different, but it's still very nice~! I'm not seeing tons of spam cluttering the forums, and in general, posts aren't as vulgar and rude as I saw on gaia in my last years. My only problem is meeting people, but, that's out of my own shyness. >3> |
Yeah, I was shy about meeting people too. This is even more true because everyone starts out with naked pixels.
