Yup yup, that's why i come here to talk now, instead of Gaia. Since I vend on there a lot, and people just dislike me for no reason really. It gets annoying too with all the baby talk and one liners in the rp threads....

Even though Im not as active as I possibly can be, I know this is alot nicer community than most forums Ive been to. Even though Im not a member of many. I actually enjoy it here. There is always something new to talk about, and someone new to meet that actually is nice.

I'm going to move this on over to the Community Discussion forum where it belongs. ;)

well I hope so, I remember how bad the moderating system is on Gaia, for instance, I like drawing, and I especially like helping other people who like to draw, like giving them little tips on the shading and everything, and one time I found an art thread and offered a little tip on the shading, and then she started Sending me private messages calling me jealous and stuck up and that her art was perfectly fine and I shouldn't criticize it, and then my account got a week long ban =__= I think it was a year before I even considered using Gaiaonline again.

Most of the reason I left that place, because of ridiculous nonsense and drama like that.
Gaia's really uptight, but Mene seems to be a place where you can actually be yourself. And that's a good thing, because usually when I start playing a website like this, it seems like other 'elite' memers don't want any 'newbies' around, but the newbies are what keeps websites going, y'know?

Yeah, the only reason I really go on there is to hang out with my friends ^~^ I'm glad I went back there, because otherwise I never would have met any of them =3 AND I would never have found this website either.

Yeah, you really don't need to worry about trolls and major spamtards on here. They tend to find themselves banned pretty much instantly if they go off on a rampage and there's staff online at the time xD Which must be the shock of their tiny lives when they're so used to being able to spam all day to their heart's content on Gaia :lol: We pay a bit more attention on here ;) Plus we have enough mods to keep up.

I doubt that our forums will ever end up like Gaia's because the kiddies who make Gaia's forums the way they are do not like our set up, so they go back to Gaia. Leaving us with the people who actually want to interact. So it works out well for everyone :)

I know, what scares me is the chance that some other internet board will attack menewsha.

No, we don't IP ban someone unless they keep coming back and causing trouble. Or if we check up on the person and find they're known spammers (there are websites that list the usernames/emails/IPs of known spammers/bots).

We'd be very unlikely to be targetted by the kind of site that likes to raid places to amuse themselves because we're not big enough to interest them, plus we're not doing anything to stir them up in the first place :)

I think it's one of my favorite sites now. I only joined about a week ago, but I fell in love ^.^ I like that there aren't many spammers or rude people. I think most of the reason everyone is so laid back, especially to newcomers, is because everyone remembers how it was to be new, naked, and broke, so people help out and chat. It's fun. With other sites, some people were so ignorant and plain out mean. Seriously. But here, it doesn't matter how much gold you have, how long you've been playing, and how old you are. Which is pretty awesome XD
