I agree - its a great place to go if you want some intellectual feedback.
I also get the impression that many of the users her are a bit older (like in their 20s) than in most avatar sites.

The few times that I have seen it happen it has been taken care of with a very large swift kick. When, I want to say 4chan came around about a year ago we were cuttin' people left and right. To the point in which they couldn't post anything. So, they got bored and left. It is very rarely a member will notice it after it is being handled.

I hate internet sites that are full of people who just make my time on those sites unhappy. This is where I come to chill, not be bullied or berated. I am also glad it is friendly here ^^

No, the Phoenix Jubilee was an event that only lasts for about a week once a year as far as I am aware. It ended last week sometime.

Don't worry, there shall be a summer event some time in August. Though the events are not just about free items, even if they are totally spiffy. They can help you meet new people and get further established in the site.
