I wuvs you Iro-kun :hug::kiss:
|
@ Zivvy:
I am doing it. Just taking a break. @ sushi_mew: Thank you for the link. :D @ everyone: Who wants to see what I did? I did my own texture. :D |
Iroro... LOL! I am jobless now~ though I do not mind a bit. XD Resting. Now I am exploring watercolours.
I have INSANE lot of grey, marshy... but I am complete with my 10 sets~ |
You're welcome, Yamiko! ;)
What did you make, S_L? =O lol Watercolours is a good thing. Anything you have scanned or photographed? xD |
No... of my life... this is the first time I really treat water colour as watercolour. XD during school days, I used poster colour more... and only that 3 or 4 times. Ya know, our education system do not encourage those subject, actually.
|
*rolls around on floor* I has all the eggs I needed to make complete sets! now I has extra.......
|
Here it is, my first texture made:
TextureOrange I have Photoshop CS3! That is for now, till I update to CS4. :D Oh, there will be a preview of CS5 on April 12th. O_O |
ooooohhhhh pretty o.o *stares*
|
Gah! I think I splatter a few spot on my computer LCD screen... when I was trying out the water colour in front of the computer... and ON the tablet... ahaha.... I know I am abusing my items.
I don't support hightech CS. because I can't see any difference between CS3 and CS4... |
That is a nice texture. I could see myself using it for certain things. =D
I don't really see much differences in CS3 and CS4 myself, except for that one... skew tool they only have in CS4. But then again, I only use CS4 in the campus lab. Personally, I am still using CS2. I dislike Buncho with a passion. That's all. >: | I've never really liked paint all too much, until I started needing to use them (watercolours and gauche) for classes. I've gotten to like using them now. Hehe |
*jealous of your class*
Hey! Iroro, where you get your art stuff from? I actually went for art shop hunt lately, to Gardens, to MIA, to somewhere near Metro Prima... pity Win's art in PJ closed... or else... I will be going there too... |
*noms on iro-kun* art supplies are good yes, but hard to come by in this little backwater town, I has to travel an hour and a half to get anything decent :gonk:
|
Just notice the texture~ XD I dunno why I missed it.
It looks a bit realistic to me... O_O and so bronze bright~! I can imagine it in a rich man house... somekind of door/gate, perhaps... I 'tried' CS3, but not CS4, since I see no difference to the tools I use other than the logo(I love nice logo.) I wonder how will they brekathrough with CS5. Another reason is, I don't want to load my computer with the Adobe CS which is becoming heavier and heavier. |

Thank you for the egg, Yamiko! You didn't have to, but I'd added in a little extra in the trade as a way of thanks. o_o
As for art supplies, there is a small shop that all the students from the One Academy go to, because it caters for the art students there, so most of their stuff are not too expensive. The shop is called Vision Art, located on the row of shop houses right behind TOA in the Sunway Pyramid area. |
Actually I had heard of that Vision Art, never been there because I am scared I will be lost. DX
May I know what brand of watercolour you like then? Since you hate Buncho with such a passion. |
@ Yamiko:
Thank you so much! @ I_D: Aww, thank you so much for the compliment. Oh really!? Basically I had to take surface pictures around the campus and make a texture out of it. I have a tutor, which she told me to do 3 different textures. The campus I am at, they learn on CS3, which I have a book about it. I have to show it tomorrow on what I have done with them, plus other things. Lucky, I went to sleep early. XD @ Zivvy: Guess because it was trying to be hiding from you? I was trying different colors on the texture and this works great on it. :D Yea, that is true about getting a bit heavy on their programs. I am just glad to got this on my laptop. :D |
I don't have a particular preference, but the one I'm using at the moment, which is what almost everyone here uses anyway, is Pentel. :P
If you don't mind meeting up in real life, I can guide you there. 8D *bricked* That place stinks of rubbish, though. That is one thing I really don't like about that area. =_=; |

I mind meeting in real life, because that will certainly ruin my imagination of Iroro being a bishie. XD
I have no problem GOING to that area, but I have problem going back, because of the cannon olympus bridge. I don't know which outlet to go out to it, I am using LDP. Once, I went under bridge thinking it can connect, but then, there is traffic police there, and force me to go federal highway instead. D: Luckily, I have my GOPHERs(but now a bit spoilt...), or else, I am sure I will be lost... forever and EVER! Pentel? Why not Alpha Artist's? XD the price is so high... |
Yamiko; seriously? o: So nice~ = u= ♥ in that case; any colour if fine. (:
|
In a way I get what you mean about meeting irl, but I can make myself look like a bishie if you like? I've been told I could passably do that. It's just now the matter of whether I want to don my blond wig or not. xD
*bricked more* Ah, I see, xuv. I think I know where you mean, but I believe they only close that road at around 5pm. That is exactly why I don't really use Alpha Artists. rofl |
Anyone still willing to trade any eggs? I need a Cream to complete my set :)
I have plenty of lavender and dark pink to trade |
Iroro, lol. You cosplay a lot? O_O
I thought Iroro is an art addict who will pay for the high quality paint. XD I go and buy really cheap stuff from popular to test and learn watercolour. By the way... I cannot find any paper more than 200gsm. Guess only art shop have 300gsm. The paper buckled... ---------- And it is 3 oclock in the morning! Why are you still awake, iroro?! |
Not really recently, no. Only cosplayed 3 times in my life, as Ryoma (PoT), Hotaru (Samurai Deeper Kyo) and Dino (Katekyo). I have no money and time to do a serious cosplay, and my parents don't really condone it.
lol Paints, not really. When it comes to pens and paper and electronics, that is another story. I am a more sketching and inking person than paints. The one they sell there used to be 200gsm, then they took in stock for the 185gsm ones instead. The paper got thinner... >_>; But they do have the thicker and coarser sort used for (mostly) dry painting. Those are the heavy ones, and very costly. About RM5.80 for 10/15 sheets if I remember right. lol I am awake finishing my final project. The marks for this one is very important, as it is a whole chunk of 25% of the entire course. |
