Life Lessons of Mene
So I was sitting here, fishing. Catching TVs and afro donkeys like a madwoman. When I see a cat and a bunny swimming towards each other.
"I can catch them both!" I told myself enthusiastically. I took aim, I dropped the hook, I lifted the hook... And they both swam on. Now it was too late to catch even one of them! "Ah, well," I muttered. "I guess you can't have your cake AND eat it, too..." And yet, sometimes, you can! I realized this is a lot like life. Sometimes you aim for what you want and what you need, and you lose both of them. But sometimes, if you're lucky, you get both! Has Menewsha ever taught you anything? Anything at all. Even if it's taught you that you have an addictive personality, or how to make an outfit in real life look as good as an outfit online! (both apply to me) Share your stories! :eager: |
All your life actions have a pro and a con.
Even when it comes down to a game or something like talking in a forum room. Most the time you might find out something new or something new about yourself. For that I do it myself cause I love the fishing game, I go for both and miss or sometimes I catch them and a squid goes by :( i loose out on more points. It just really reminds me of how crap my life feels atm how what ever I go for backfires and the better path is lost. But I keep my chin up hoping for something good to come my way :) Though I'd say the tower defense game teaches me not to be greedy :P I keep trying to stack up to many towers in one place it just makes me fail lol. |
Why can't life come with a walkthrough, ya know?
"Final Exams: YOU'RE GOING TO WANT TO PASS THIS! This life will have better outcomes if you defeat all of the exams easily! Protip: Get good sleep before attempting this battle." |
Protip: Beat books before fighting the exam XD haha
thats what life is though :) learn from our mistakes and adapt to make sure it never happens again. If you don't learn your lesson it'll happen again. |

I love that game.. |
I think that Menewsha (and avatar sites as a whole, but mostly Mene) has taught me more about dressing myself. I feel more fashionable now somehow, and I'm not afraid to use strange color combinations, because I know most anything can be pulled off if you work it right. :D I guess that's the main thing that I've learned/used from all my years on avatar sites. XP

I've learned that, online, I'm much better at articulating what I mean to say, but I still suck at it really bad
It's not usually a thing like, "I have no idea what you're saying," but more like, "I know what you're saying but I have no idea what kind of attitude you have. So it must be a bad one. Stop being a jerk." :gonk: |
Poor Keyori! D:
Siz: I feel weird if my shoes don't match my outfit, which is weird, cause before I joined any sites like this I could care less! Same thing with every other part of my wardrobe, really o 3o |
Really one lesson everyone will learn is what kind of style they like and how they personally are, this i avatar site and you'll soon learn what kind of person they are depending on how their avatar is dressed.

I think Menewsha (and all message boards for that matter) will help me become more articulate in real life. Writing a lot doesn't just help you organize your papers but how you communicate orally.
I do agree with you Sizzla. Fashion is a form of self expression and shows who you are on the inside. I think even more so with an avatar than in real life. Online you are dressing an avatar with an ideal body. In real life, we all have flaws whether we are thin or curvy. An avatars body is more flexible as to what it can wear; an avatar can wear everything while are bodies can not. When you dress a doll rather than yourself, it is easier to take risks because if you do something wrong people will judge that avatar and not you. |
