Yeah I don't really care at all. It doesn't really matter that much..

I joined shortly after the site launched so there were no games that could really earn you much gold if any. You had to put gold into Chance and most the time would lose gold to the game. I also believe that you had to buy bait for fishing if I remember correctly. Personally, I like it. It encourages people to actually post and become more involved with the community. That's one thing that I've always liked about Mene is the community.

It's also a bad thing because there are those people who don't like to post and do only like to play games. I can see why it would make some people mad.

Yeah, it took a long time before you managed to make any kind of profit from fishing! I'm talking weeks here.

I don't care too much. I mean, 250 g is good for me. I don't know. It's just not that bad for me........

I thought I would be more upset by the new cap than I've turned out to be. Yeah, I liked being able to get 500 gold a day, and yeah, playing the games for gold was my activity to do while I watched TV or waited for roleplay posts, but there's nothing I'm absolutely dying to buy at the moment so I haven't really minded.

Remember that it's just a trial period. It may change in the future. We may have alternate ways of earning gold and you won't need the games as much.

I'm good with the change. Even though I've been using my daily gaming gold to get items from the last update (omg so pretty but so expensive!) I'm still happy with the change. It does promote posting on the site, which is what it was meant for. If they'd never changed it, you never would have made this topic! and 3 pages of posts would never have been made either. Clever little admins. ;D
It takes longer to get items, but the decrease in gold flow should also calm the inflation rate a little since there will be less gold in the system to buy items with. It sucks if you're like me and trying to buy commons, but it helps if you're after CI/limited edition items. At the same time, it just takes longer to get commons. Their price doesn't change so in the end it just takes (possibly) twice as long. :3

no lie this 250 thing is killing me inside. I mean I didn't always get the 500 a day mark but when I wanted somthing I was deffinatly getting the 500 a day max. But they did increase the gold for post rate and I am proud to say that I have uped my posting and thats been a bog help

I think I'm probably making more with the posting than I did from games. And there's an event coming up soon and you KNOW we're all going to be posting like crazy. I think it'll actually be easier to get those event commons this time around since I'll be making more gold for doing what I would be doing anyway.

I'm not upset at the change... I really don't have enough time on here to make more than about one hundred gold each day from the games... so having the cap at two hundred fifty, well honestly makes it more fair for the people who do have lives outside of Mene and can't be on getting gold all day. It's hard seeing people get up to one thousand gold a day and then the prices for the event items get further and further out of my reach because there are some days I can't be on here at all, or just on long enough to make a few sentences worth of posts... not to mention the fact that I barely have time to RP anymore... (Don't kill me DeiDei!)

I really don't mind the change either. I personally only have one account. It seems a bit ridiculous now that I think about it that some people could earn 1,000 gold a day between a main account and a mule. Most of the items on Mene really don't cost that much so it's kinda overkill to make that much in one day...

Again, I already sound like a broken record but I think three hundred gold would the most appropriate amount of gold to be able to earn from games in a day as the maximum gold amount capped in the area of the video games... there I articulated it ridiculously long lol. That again, is just my humble opinion though. I do understand they are trying to keep inflation under control, so I guess the most active users in the forums will be the ones who will gain the most gold as opposed to users who just log on-- post once or twice maybe and then get the five hundred gold and run without really being that active. We'll see when jelly sundae and insomniac come back with the experimental results.... sounds like mad scientist work heheheheheheheheh!!!

While I don't like the change , I can see that the Admins were trying to stop inflation from getting out of control. I am willing to post more to earn my gold.

Quick question: One you hit the cap, are you unable to play anymore games? Period? I've never hit the cap, and have no desire to try.

Amayakumiko, you can definitely still play games after you reach the cap. :'D <3<3 You won't earn anymore gold from them, but you can definitely still play and enjoy them if you wish. ^^

I actually like the new gold cap. It encourages people to use the forums (this is a community, after all), and I'm sure it will also help lower the prices for CI's. I don't think the change will be seen immediately, but I sure that contribution items and event items will become cheaper.

The only thing about this that I don't like is that (as far as I know), the prices for the items in the shops will remain the same. I'd like to see those become cheaper as well, but that would require a lot of work and time.

I think it's alright. We still have posting to get some gold. But of course it would be better if we were able to earn more gold. Maybe like 400? I'd be fine with that. ^^

Oh I don't really care. When I play games I usually get bored after I make around 100g.
So it does not change anything for me. And now we can earn more gold by posting and I like to post.
But I do understand that this is probably making you upset or other people that are good at playing games and make gold easily with them. :O

I don't really mind, to be honest. I never made the max of 500g per day with the games anyways lol. I actually usually just made about 200-250g x'DD

I like it, actually, because now I hit my limit really fast and hop right onto forums, where I stay for awhile. Before i was struggling to reach the limit, then I was so frustrated and bored with menewsha I didn't really stay in the forums much. So now i find myself posting a lot more than before :D
