The more you type in each post the more money you can get. i forget what they maxed out the max gold per post at though. Was it 50 or 30.. or 35? I just don't remember. But anyway, the point is, if you talk a lot, like just go on and on and on, you'll eventually end up racking up the gold and you'll have a ton of it. Well, that is until you go to buy something. And then it's back to the jibber jabber again to earn some gold to buy more things. kinda reminds me of the vicious circle of real life. I just wish that we could get paid for just doing this :XD That's be the job, eh?

Well, how about getting paid to type. And I know what you mean. I don't talk much unless you put some caffeine in me, and then you can't get me to shut up. And I can't get myself to shut up either. i have a seriously low tollerance to that stuff. it's really kind of fun though :P

Scribbling can be fun sometimes too. Makes me want a coloring book :P

ZOMG I haven't owned a coloring book since I was like, 9! :O That was many, many years ago already. Sad times. My scribbles are usually weird stuff I think up, that leads me somewhere else, and then I go around in some weird spiderweb type thing that lands me in a maze of brain matter that makes absolutely no sense at all :oops:

That sounds kind of interesting. Very abstract. Lots of people go for that kind of thing in art these days because they just don't know how to let go of things and let their brain do what it wants. They are too controlling or scared to set their brain free. I definitely want a coloring book and some 64 pack of crayola crayons, with the sharpener in the back XD

I don't believe I've ever colored with crayons :/

Hah, no. I spent my childhood in Mexico moving from place to place, following my dad's job. So there really wasn't any way for me to get any kind of coloring stuff and still get to keep it >.<

And it was awesomely, perfect beach day warm, though I do remember it actually -snowed- once there. It was so amazing, 'cause it hadn't snowed there in about 50 years at the time (this was about 14 years ago, now) and everyone was out in the streets just watching little baby snowflakes fall.

Of course, it didn't last very long >.<

But yeah, when you hardly ever get snow, it's nice to see it. I'd like to see it once every 50 years, it's way too cold here in Germany.

Well building upon this, for those of you who write, what do you think about writing stories about Mene itself? If I give you a theme and an NPC to use for example. Like...

Write a short story (no more then 100 words), using the following NPC and theme.
Cain, winning the popularity contest.
Can either be about his reaction to it, the actual contest itself, fangirls plotting to rig it, etc etc

Is this something people would be interested in?

However I am concerned about whether people are interested (On top of that as the npc popularity contest has shown many of you don't know the NPCs as well), and well... to bluntly put it quality. I know everyone isn't the world greatest artist or author but I've seen many contests you can tell that people didn't really try. Or they're trying but I'm questioning their method of what they're doing.

Well I'm not sure. Ideally? Weekly. But, I'm a busy person. There are staff and real life duties to consider. I'm one person after all and the rest of staff members are busy as is. I'm practically dead the few weeks before events. So maybe monthly? But I fear the lost of interest after awhile.

See I run Project Fandom (which has been dead for a really long time due to lack of time). What I want to do is spread Mene as a fandom. That means fanfiction and fanart. Uploaded to places like ff.net and DA. That's basically my ultimate goal as an Event Coordinator.

Why not bi-weekly? Then, there's more time to write/create and also for the coordinator as well. Then it's not as spread out as monthly. I think that's a bit far, and it might clash with mene events that are going on.

Bi weekly seems to be a good compromise. In the beginning there probably isn't going to be a bunch of entries so it should be doable.

Ah ff.net = fanfiction.net. (Similar places for posting fiction are also ArchiveofourOwn, Livejournal (those who still use it), and tumblr (though best for art and not fiction).

The problem with the idea, is the same problem from the start which was spreading the word about it. Of course, being an Event Coordinator, I'm sure that you would have your ways ;)

Well, I guessed what it meant, I just never had exposed myself to that area. It takes a lot for me to want to use someone elses idea and then run with it in a different direction or continue on from where they stopped.

*raised eyebrow* Is that so? When I first arrived, there was a big hum about the Mayor. And yumeh. But that is all that I can remember. I have seen Yumeh post around a bit though. And in one of the events recently, I spoke with the Mayor a bit in his train ride I believe.

Ah that's fair enough. It's same reason why despite having lots of favorite animes, tv shows and video games, I only write fanfiction for a select few.
