Its ok Jelly, you told us what you thought you knew. I don't blaim you.

Maria-Minamino 09-23-2011 03:51 PM

Well you know what they say about the longer the wait the better the prize at the end? I'm perfectly content to wait :)

Nephila 09-23-2011 09:52 PM

Oh well. I'll just continue to rock back and forth in my corner until it's ready.

Rosasharn 09-28-2011 11:55 PM

It would be my first event. I'm excited, but I don't know what to expect at all. xD

jellysundae 09-29-2011 06:33 AM

Nothing, it's not happening :(

Thats sad, but hey we have two events left for this year
And there's always next year

Cora 09-29-2011 08:36 PM

Is it NEVER happening? Like.....ever?

Ikuto Akihiko Hasegawa 09-29-2011 10:28 PM

For this year, I would assume. :XD

Poor staff have to sit on the items longer!

Mageling 09-30-2011 02:09 AM

*sighs* Too bad... I was looking forward to it. Maybe next year, then.

jellysundae 09-30-2011 03:52 AM

Hopefully! Sorry it's not happening, yet again :(

Cora 09-30-2011 12:01 PM

I feel bad that you guys have to sit on the items o.0

----------

That would drive me nuts.

aw, shucks.
sorry you guys are so overworked Jelly.
*wishes we could help*
maybe next year earlier than september?

Jack MacGaven 09-30-2011 03:47 PM

Oh that's sad, but don't fret. We still have Halloween and the Winter Festival. I'm happy to have just those.

jellysundae 09-30-2011 04:15 PM

It's frustrating for me though. I was looking forward to it too, so the fact that it can't happen is pretty sucky. But it's down to funds again. It is partially coded up, but not by Inso, and the cash is not there to get it finished, so there's no other option but to shelve it once again :(

Bearzy 09-30-2011 10:17 PM

That's not really a reasoning that we can do anything about at the moment though, is it? It's a shame that the site's lack of funds is what causes this.

Cora 09-30-2011 11:39 PM

Wishes she could fund said event.....but alas she can not.

i still do not understand what the coding is.
was the summer boardwalk event a coded event?

how much more in funds do you guys need to do this particular event?
*just wondering*
ballpark figures would be fine, if you can let us know.
i tried to donate as much as i could this month.
i played the lottery last night since it was up so high.
but i fell asleep before the number were drawn.
lol, so i may be a millionare already!
woohoo!!!!!
if i won i will help menewsha as much as you all need.
*giggles*
i wated a 'monk' episode yesterday were the Captain won the lottery.
glimpse of things to come.....hope so!

Cora 10-01-2011 11:12 AM

God if hummy won the lottery mene would say woohoo lols.

aw man, Cora Lorington i didn't see this post and i left the lottery ticket in the car at the moving truck rental place.
stupid u-haul people messing up the planned schedule.
*hopes to have the winning lottery ticket*
that would be so cool.
i would probably hide it so i didn't lose it and then not find the winning lottery ticket until the day after it expired!
i do that all the time with coupons, well not hide them but not remember about them until the day after they expire.
a friend still lives overseas and she can use them for up to six months after the experation date so she is always loving when i forget to use them.

jellysundae 10-01-2011 11:38 PM

Hummy, the summer event wasn't coded, no, it just had a little coded game. Fully coded events are far more complex.

A coded event and all it involves: lots of commons; event items; forum layout; event code itself, costs around $3000 to produce, and brings in no revenue at all to pay for itself.

hummy 10-02-2011 03:02 AM

oh, i see Jelly.
that is a big pirce tag with nothing coming in from the event itself.
maybe y'all could do a special CI for such events in addition to the monthly CI?
i actually had no idea it was that much money to produce the event (coded).

Bearzy 10-02-2011 03:10 AM

It seems a lot doesn't it... but if you add everything up, it makes a lot of sense. Would releasing a sort of Contribution item for the event help?

lol, i thought for a minute i just thought about the special event contribution item and didn't actually post it.
but then i saw i did so.....great minds think alike!

Bearzy 10-02-2011 03:15 AM

Na, I think that'd be awesome. I'd probably buy one.

hummy 10-02-2011 03:16 AM

i probably would as well.
i like menewsha so much and i will try to contribute as often as i can.
