Sorry if this has already been asked...but could we do the event...but uncoded? You have the items you need for it...and we can't afford a fully coded event....and I don't think that is going to improve over the next year considering the economy is really bad....but...could we just do the event uncoded? Save the coding for when you CAN financially support it...but then you would just make new items for it when you finally can do the event?

Sometimes I feel like I should learn code just to help you guys. err other than basic html. I'd work for Epics!! um I mean pixels *nods* but I too lazy for that.

me too! i'd go for an uncoded Cales Paradis event. *ish still not too sure what a coded event is* i liked the summer boardwalk even so i am good with that kind of event for sure. |

Are you on any other avatar sites, Hummy? Our coded events are much the same as those you'll find elsewhere. There's a pretty layout in the event forum, with tasks to complete or games to play to earn event currency, which in turn earns you event items.
The Christmas before last we had to help Vicky bake treats. We could visit her pantry every 15 minutes and collect between 1 and 3 of one of the ingredients needed, and could then combine those to make different items if you have enough of each ingredient. We had to bake them ourselves, and the ovens liked burning stuff :lol: The finished goods were the event items. You could trade with Vicky and swap some of one ingredient for another if you have a load of one thing and not enough of something else. Also people complained about the Winter Nights layout for 2009 as it was very pink :lol: The most complex event was the last one, Phoenix Jubilee 2010. Involving building machinery to harvest the oil from the phoenix orchids, and sagotaging that of the opposing team. I never did anything bad, of course :ninja: |
