I was looking at my inventory on Gaiaonline to see if i had any words I could've used as a Menewsha username. Then I found my Swirly Naruto. That's why my username is Swirly.

Well, there is no interesting story as to how I got my username. Cassette isn't a made up word or a play on words or a mixture of different words or names that make one new and original name. A cassette is simply a type of tape, as in the tape with two spools rather than sellotape. The reason I picked Cassette as my username is because I'm a huge music lover, I always have been and I always will be, I remember how huge cassettes were when I was younger, and I remember when CDs took over (and when MP3s took over them), I was always really fond of tapes and still wish that I had them. A few weeks ago I got a cushion off Grindstore that looks like a cassette tape, so that fed my musical urges for a little while. Last night I decided that I would make a new main account and keep my other as a mule so I could have a more musically influenced account rather than one with a username I made when I was depressed. Also, Cassie (which is what I like Cassette to be shortened to) was the name of my first RP character, so it adds some meaning to it. C:

Thanks, Hummy. C: It was a toss up between this and Stratocaster (which is what I tend to go for on sites now) and Cassette won because cuter name variations can come of this.

...I've had someone call me racist and that I was a bad guy (person) for picking the name. They had no idea I was a girl and that there were deeper reasons for the name. Some even pointed out if there was any relation to my name and the fact I had picked a Wesker profile pic on the former Resident Evil forum I hung out at. =A= I eventually left because... there was too much trash talking and trolling. Not to mention nobody was helpful .They were too quick to hurl the words like noob and fail at you moreso than give you guidance.
But it's actually a reference to Byakko from the Four Mythical Beasts. 1. There was once a BJD who was designed after Byakko that I once coveted so badly hence I took the name. 2. My guardian animal/at least the one I envision in times of worry/dreaming to help me out is always in the form of a white tiger... cub or fully grown. You know those techniques wherein you induce yourself to repeat a dream and finish it or settle a score? Yes. Those sorts. I'm not just properly armed with knowledge but a white tiger, is always around. It's my inner symbol for strength I suppose. ^^; @Cassettes As fragile as those tapes were against dust and other stuff, they were pretty nifty and iconic. Knowing what tapes were was definitely the brand of a 90s kid. :D |

Gotta agree stuff are a lot more convenient nowadays but have become less tangible and personalized. As in you being able to take part. It was good while it lasted however. :D

Until then, I shall secretly keep making the peeerfect cassette inspired patterns for wallets and other related decorative items to show that I am a proud 90s kid. =u=;;

My username came from Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep from the charms Aqua gave to Terra and Ven.

So i like steampunk stuff a lot. I started to write a steampunk one-act, but I haven't finished it. One of the characters name is Devian J. Cullin. I decided to use Devian as my username because I really loved the name. Yeah so I guess you could say I named myself after one of my own OC's, but the only problem is that Devian is supposed to be 15 hehe so I'm too old for the part. Not that much older though.

hmmm.. where did my username came from? until now i'm still asking my self why i'd pick this name... oh, how i wish i could have chosen better but anyways i have no regret about it. whatever it is that is in my mind a few years ago while i'm filling my application form here, thank you for giving my avatar a somehow decent name.

Usako is Usagi's nickname from Sailor Moon. Some douche already took Usagi so this is my backup choice.

I get my name from my first story. From both Junya and Ven. I really love that story in fact I'm thinking about reading it again. So yeah I mixed those two together and Junya's dad last name and Junya Aven! ^_^

I got my name from a pagan name generator which is a gag site that gives you 3 words to use as your pagan name. So it gave me the words Sidhe Ravynne and something else. I switched around the Sidhe and Ravynne to get Ravynne Sidhe which has become a pen name for me.
People have told me that the name itself "sounds fluffy" but honestly if you don't know me that well, it would sound fluffy however it's a name that makes sense. Ravynne or Ravyne (the latter I normally use now) is another spelling for the word raven. Ravens are said to symbolize wisdom. Sidhe is another word for the fae who are known to be mischevious. People have said that I am wise because of the amount of studying that I have done as well as my ability to retain information. For the Sidhe part, I can be quite mischevious. |
