Haha this is just to see well if there's enough interest for this to work. If you're familiar with anon/kink memes on LJ then this is pretty much the same concept.
We all love NPCs right? We enjoy
tormenting amusing ourselves with what if situations and couples and other things. The idea behind this is to prompt an idea of something you would like to see and hopefully someone will come along and write you a story.
You can prompt anything (as long as it's PG-13 and has proper warnings): slash/het/crackfics/crossovers/etc
For example
Person A can prompt: "Yumeh isn't a normal cat. What if he was an Animagus? Young Dumbledore?! Blue Eyes tell all!" or "Nalin and this quote "You look pretty as a girl"/"Blackmailed into crossdressing huh?"
Person B can come along and write (or draw) a story around that.
Things to note
- Everyone can prompt, but you don't have to write a story (but writing for someone else always make more people willing to return the favor to you)
- Art is allowed as well. :D (but in the long run because most time they take longer, prompts don't get filled too often with art)
- Not every prompt will be filled. It's up to the whim of the writers.
- The "I'm not a writer/artist" argument. You don't have to be a good one. If you can use spellcheck and proper punctuation and capitalization you're off to a good start.
- We never speak of this thread to the NPCs... ever. *cough*
- Bonuses: Get more gold by writing stories, share your love for an NPC(s), for fun!
My Question to you: Is this something people would like to try? This can get big and messy fast (or not) and obviously if there aren't enough people willing to write/prompt then nothing will come from it.
