I know we kind of lack areas for just chatting. Well no, that's inaccurate, but the place where a lot of new people think there should be just chatting, the GD, doesn't work like that. Chatting is done in more established threads, whatever forum they're in.
FM doesn't have those restrictions that the GD does, so it would be nice if it got more love and established users posted there in their own hangouty-type threads, not just to say hi in an introductory thread. |

I used to not post in the CD because it was a comfort thing. I still feel a bit odd to just jump into a conversation sometimes. It's more like it feels like people are talking among friends and I have no idea what's going on so I say nothing rather than posting. That's just me being shy though. :P
