What? We are actually done judging and announcing winners? NO WAI!! I bet you all thought hell would freeze before we actually posted the winners, right?


Seriously though, we want to apologize for the lateness of this posting. Both Sizzla and I had real life pull us away from Menewsha. While I know that is no solid excuse, it is the reality. :( So we wanted to thank everyone for their patience and let you all know that we really did our best to take our time, look at every entry, every written essay, and every picture to do a solid job judging.

The First Stop: Garland

We think you guys started the contest out with a bang, and found several spirited and fun avatars to award prizes to. :D

Okay, now for the top three!

In third place (1,000g), I chose an avatar that showed nice restraint. This avatar's outfit is one you might actually see someone wearing, and I appreciate that. :D It has nice flow and balance, and I like the simplicity as well. Nice job!

In second place (3,000g), I chose an avatar that had a wonderfully balanced look all around. The colors were well-distributed, and she used items I don't normally see used, Tatsu especially. Excellent work!

And in first place (5,000g), I picked an avatar that was not only well-balanced and pleasing to the eye, but also was festive and appropriate for the season. Sometimes I think people get too caught up with color-matching and balance and just start throwing on random items to make everything look right, and then forget that there's a theme to the contest. So, our first-place winner not only made an avatar that was pleasing to look at, but also kept with the holiday theme. :D Congrats go to...

The Second Stop: Reinsend

With this contest, not only were you tested on your amazing avatar abilities, but also your literacy skills! This is honestly the contest that was hardest to judge, as we had to pour over everyone's 3 paragraph essays! Avatars with awesome essays AND outfits made the top pics!

Yeah, it took so long partially because there were so many awesome entries, and so many great essays to read! I really do take what you guys write into account, as well as creativity. I am not kidding when I say, avatars that make me happy/laugh really do have the advantage with me. Siz is the queen of the matchy avatars though ;) So avatars that did both did really well.
