For me, mene is a place where I can belong. A safe place, a free safe place that requires nothing but my presence to be fun and peaceful. Its a place I can go to be myself without anyone judging how I look or act.
I first came here to dress up an avatar and play tetris. At the first event, it was christmas 2008... anyways, i met people here who accepted me. we shared in the times and talked regularly. I met Granny and Jeanie and Ace and a whole bunch of others. I laughed, I cried and I had a wonderful time. Then the event was over and it was heart breaking. I wanted more, i needed more. So I found places to hang out. I met Suona and blueblackrose and I won admin pick. And the valentines event with the pillow fight of epicness. I participated in avatar contest, and eventually made my own which ran for more then a year. Things slowed down and life got busy, but mene is always here for me. Now I am here everyday, at least once a day, more often then not its more then that. I dont always make posts or friends. But I do always have a great time and I always feel welcome and at home on mene. |

I remember when the question of too old got asked... about 40 was the answer... glad it wasn't true because that's 2 years of jelly we'd lose

Well considering she acts like a workaholic on here sometimes... mene would be pretty stagnant without her here.
