I joined back in 2007 and after going from being a troll and an annoying SOB. To a huge lurker, to an active accepted member of Menewsha society. And hell look at me now, I'm a mod. [:O]
Menewsha saw me grow up and mature. I've made so many friends here, many I consider close friends too. This place is a second home that never leaves. Seen me through life difficulties; college, difficult roommate who I filled a police report against, hurricane Sandy, my engagement, and I'll probably still be here after the eventual wedding and possible tiny Longcats.

I was a classy troll. Nah I just never saw the reason to troll here. It was such a small community that there wasn't much fun in it. Gaia, you tube, and others I'm blanking on the names and dumb stuff I did back in junior high and high school.
As for the s/o this ain't his cup of tea. The only thing he would do would be play AotF.

Youtube and Gaia are trollville in general though. I usually "trolled" by reporting the inappropriate threads over there. For some reason they thrived...

Once had a guy stalk me from there and spam my profile... that was the guy howdy whacked.

I've been here and back again... a few times, actually. It's strange because I always enjoyed my stays on Mene, but I suppose I just got carried away with real life and that drove me off rather than the people or what was going on.

I consider myself a rather shy member. I don't go into hangouts unless pinged or if they are event threads and I know people who is running the thread. It is hard for me to approach different people, though I'm certain they're pleasant (as I've only had one experience of a miserable user on this site and they are now banned... which... yeah). Whatever the case, I kind of view this site as an art studio where people are all creating and collaborating or just plain goofing off. I like to collaborate with people on projects so it's pretty home-y to me. I'm comfortable here despite my shyness in the more social venues.

But I didn't join Mene to get to know people and hang out... I joined it... to get art (as it was said to have an amazing artist community at the time) and to promote a webcomic I was about to produce with a friend. Because of timing troubles on my part (AKA having university courses) it never got released and because I was dirt poor when I got here I never did afford any artwork... but I kept coming back to Mene because everyone was so much sweeter than what I had seen on Gaia (naturally).

I still visit Gaia maybe... three times a year? It's crazy, I can't imagine going back. When I got frustrated with slow activity here I tried a few other places but they've also fallen by the wayside. Menewsha works for me- all things considered it's pretty much what I want from an avatar community and naturally my experience has been a good one. I always log off excited to do more for this site and community. : )

Poet: yeah, and that's only for the hour/night that I get pinged on. I honestly was a lot better with hangouts before (when Wallflowers was a big raging thing around these parts) but I just don't... do it anymore for whatever reason. *shrug*
