I only get items to make "a" outfit and then I use the Sell back Store to get half the gold back to make a new outfit that I've been inspired to create. Usually... it only takes up to 30-50 items? It's the CIs that basically make up the most of the outfit anyway. xD

And yes, I did have a Quest Thread originally. I made a Quest thread for others to see what I am trying to obtain if they wanted to donate OR tell me if they have the items for sale for cheaps. But now, if I want items/CIs, I do it myself. I don't ask for help. During Events, I usually just post to earn tokens to get a few things I like but I use the rest to giveaway items for free that people want. Although, I wasn't able to last event because I've been busy busy.

I think I entered the Quest Raffle once? But I never went back there after that. I just enter contests during Menewsha Holiday events to win gold or items when I have the time to.

I always thought of quest threads as a check off list of sorts. A place to keep track of what you want! Like in my exchange I have a list of things I want to buy that are reasonably priced...then in my quest thread I have everything I want 8D And my commons...since no one sells commons in the exchange it's easier to track them in my quest thread 8D

The events, if you have the time, are definitely great ways to earn items 8D

I typically just buy as I need them (which is rarely). Though once I've purchased one I don't tend to ever sell them.

When I have the time to organize everything I try and have each store drawer set up in the order it appears in the store. Because I'm OCD like that. Haha. I
Sometimes I do know exactly what drawer to go to for which item, other times when I'm searching for inspiration I just start going from drawer to drawer and try stuff on to figure out what'll work best. :3

I tend to buy them as I need them for an avatar, unless they come out during an event when I'll stock up on the ones I think I'll use the most and buy them while they're cheaper.

I try and quest a specific store... I used to buy one item from the store I was questing every day I was on or every week until I started to save up for specific items to complete an avi.

@ Kendra - That is INTENSE that you know the order of the stores or which store an item is in, even if it's just for some! Funny how so many people claim to be OCD but it's all in different ways! I love it!!

Questing for an entire store is pretty intense! Have you completed any stores?!

Well, a lot of the stores are themed so at some point I know that if I'm looking for a particular style of item that it's more than likely from -insert store name here-. So it makes it a little easier! Haha. The OCD claims are pretty hilarious. x3

I haven't yet, because I stopped the questing and ended up getting more CIs or old EIs as I've found them in the market place. Granted, my first store quest was quite ambitious since it's the biggest. xD I'm attempting to get everything in Studio 54. Mostly because they all layer so nicely with other items and would give me SO MUCH variety and SO MANY options for pretty much everything. xD

Okay that would make things easier you're right! xD I never claim to be OCD for that reason - everyone thinks they are. I just claim to be anal about organization LOL Or "I have OCD tendencies" :P

I just went through and reorganized everything today. Made sure it was all where it belonged and in order. Found what stores items I purchased during events got sorted into and put those where they go... next step is to get my quest thread re-organized and maybe get some people in there to chat and keep it active! Haha.

It is intense, but it's sooooo necessary! Think of all the outfits that could be made with various colors and layers from that store!! It makes me want to squeal!

Oh man you just made me realize something. For you to organize for stores you have to first figure out WHERE they were placed after an event. Shit man. That is A LOT of work!!
