Personally I suspect you're probably getting off lightly, as I've only had responses to the Penpal's email from 3 people (you bunch of slackers [illgetu]). So hummy's shouldering the load like a trouper ;)

For those of you reading this in bafflement, Poet left me a profile comment about there not having been any Penpal tasks for a while, so in true passive aggressive style I set one that focuses entirely on him. It's not that hard, he has to hit 50k posts by the end of March, easy, he can do it, especially with hummy's helpful assistance. [ninja]

Can someone tell me what this penpal thing is?

When you sign up for Mene, you have to provide an email address. There is an option to either receive emails from Menewsha, or to not receive them. The "penpals" are a group of people that Jelly sends emails to, which sometimes includes server testing emails, emails about events and the like, and the occasional task [yes]

Hm, that sounds like it could be interesting. How do I sign up?

I had noticed the lack of penpal missions, as well. I wasn't going to say anything unless the silence truly stretched on for a while, though.
