you made me laugh so hard and cry, too! it was a welcome release to all the stress *hugs and clings to maggie* okay, maggie i want to post in our animal threadie but i then get distracted.....so i wanted to tell you what happened. Wy was really lethargic and peeing on himself and he was straining so hard to poop i rushed him to the emergency vet hospital and waited like four hours to be seen due to high activity. so many injured animals, i was praying to St. Francis to watch over all of them, especially Wy. when they finally checked Wy out they wanted to keep him overnight and most of the rest of the day. i had to say goodnight to him and he didn't even fuss my leaving *panic ensues* he always fusses and clings to me when i leave him at the vets office. it turned out he was so blocked up, so the $300 i spent was really for nothing! they did an enema and got some out but he was still so blocked up. they then thought he might have a UTI and wanted to do x-rays, which of course i said YES! he didn't have kidney stones and his blood chemistry panel came back with good kidney functions, HURRAY! the doc showed me the x-rays and he was soooooo blocked up he said one could have caused the other but he wasn't sure which one came first. he called me with updates so often and let me know Wy was responding well to all of his proceedures. i so wish i could have called you, i was panicking and stressing and sobbing like a baby |
Oh sweety! *hugs* I am so glad that he is responding well, though! That is really good. And it's so good that his kidneys are functioning well!
