Hmm, as your first question, it didn't get it much, do you mean as if you and me unite our gold to bid on one item? As for your second question, yes, as it's pure only, your bid must be higher the the current high bid. :D

@Shaggy:: Not really, in my opinion, it's the valentines items that inflate the items. With more valentine items now, and basically eliminating alot of gold in the system. I personally don't see inflation coming back anytime soon. :D

I am auctioning one set at a time, and yes the bid has to be higher than the recent bid. <3

Shaggy, I do believe it will deflate. I have MANY of these items, so with the constant supply, the people who want the item will get it and thus the prices will drop.

Lyra Coulter 07-03-2007 04:39 AM

@Ayx: Oh...well no. I didn't mean that. But the answer to my second question answered the first. I thought it might be like a bunch of people bid, and she just randomly picks one person who is deserving. But now I see its just goes to the highest bidder. Thanks! :D

Hehe, well I think the point is to drain as much pure from the community, to there will be deflation. :D

Sure thing! ^_^

are the items yours or did you like make some new ones?

Auction.

I think it's great that these items are not getting stuck on a banned account, lost to everyone else on the site. That's one thing that's bugged me about other sites... Rare items getting stuck on banned accounts, and no one is able to enjoy them. What makes me sad though is that the bids on these items have already gotten to the insane level, so I still have no hope of ever owning one. :(

3k is not insane.

but that keeps the ecnomy stable.. bringing back of items/ rereleasign of tiems ruins the ecnomy. the rich bcome poor again due to deflation and all their hardwork is gone.

It is for me... I don't think I've ever even made it to 1K gold. Posting seems to be the only way to make gold unless you want to risk it on games, and I'm not the most talkative person. >.<

Their hard work isn't gone - they still have the item, which should be the focus of the quest in the end. If I had worked hard to get a hairpin and they deflated, I wouldn't care because it's the item that's important, not its price. I used the hairpin because it's the most expensive item here and if she was doing any items but these (like people have been tackling the scepters, for example) it will really feck up all the people using those to quest. No one with a hairpin can say they're saving it up to quest for anything. 8)

The worst that could happen is people using smaller v-items to go for the bigger ones, but even they'll have their chance here so it's really not that big a deal. ^^

Zweres 07-03-2007 12:04 PM

  • I love how Aeris is giving back ^_^ its a change for those questers for those items to finally obtain them. Also, its making the economy cheaper and stable for those who didn't win.

Nesseh 07-03-2007 03:52 PM

OMG! :shock: Thank you for this Aeris and that Awesome person! I will post like a man for the next few weeks and I might get pure for one of those Vday items! Yes I do have proof that I have none of any of those items. ;w;

If you read her auction thread, she says thanks to someone, she has aquired a mass hoard, meaning alot. You should read the entire thread like she kindly asks to do. :D

Eroy 07-03-2007 06:04 PM

Yay Aeris!! You rock ^_^

Thanks for bringing the items off of banned accounts!

I do have a question though. You say you have mass hordes of V-day items and Crowns.. but did you happen to bring any of the Starter Sets back from those accounts which you will be selling? Or crowns and v-day only?

It depends on how you look at it.. I am more of a person who consides wealthas a sign of their accomplishment... like id be more impresed about a d-tail than a sash. just cuz the d-tail is worth more.. even if the d-tail was donated.

Rvaya 07-03-2007 08:01 PM

What is the gold going towards?

Laveris 07-03-2007 08:28 PM

The gold is being deleted. :)

Shaggy - I see your point. *nods* But wealth is shallow. 8) Personally I don't think it's anything to cry over since it's not even real money. xD

Rvaya 07-03-2007 08:41 PM

oh great! I hadn't ever heard what happens to it!
I think this is a great idea then n_n

Laveris 07-03-2007 09:00 PM

xD I can't remember where it was she said that though.

Why are you deleting the money?

It is the fairest way to deal with it. While I realize all the money is hard earned, if I were to just give them to people there would be an uproar. This way, everyone gets a chance. Plus there are many items so questors can get the money to save up for the next auction.

Not sure if this is what you mean. :D

Laveris 07-03-2007 09:51 PM

xD  Yeah, that might be it...

  • I have the queens crown, will I be able to bid on the King's crown?
    Or not?

Aeris 07-04-2007 05:45 AM

Since you have the kings crown you may not bid on the queens. Sorry! <3
