Another question.
What about the Welcome Sets on those banned accounts?
There are only 1000 of each, so shouldn't you be getting those too?

im sure first 1000 accounts fall under supicious level to take items out of those accounts.

I just feel that for those who have neither or a Crown, nor a Valentine's Day item, it would be benificial for them if you would at least disclose the minimum number of auctions that you will be able to hold for the item that you have the least of, in which you will not be telling them how many of each item you have, but at minimum what they will be able to participate in.

I will not disclose how many I have of these items ever - the only time I will disclose this information is when I am running out of such and such item, and I will have to close up the auctions for that item. This is more for the safety of the items themselves.

If you guys can't be patient with me, then there is no reason for you to participate. I did not want to flood the market with the amount of items that I have. Hell, if you were to look at it in my position, I have given up the right to offer on ANY of these items until ALL of the auctions are over. Meaning, even though I may want a v-day item, I have forfeited any chance of ever having one until the auctions are completed. This is to keep my trust with you all.

If I can do this for all of you, I ask you to be patient with me.

Peanut, I will not be taking anything from any other banned accounts. This is a special situation that I have come across and it may never happen again. I may talk to other staff about holding other auctions, but for right now this is only a special case and not at all common with other banned accounts.

I didn't mean for it to be impatient (I'm not even going to participate in the auctions), nor did I mean to jeopardize the precious items. I was just saying that it may be beneficial to inform the users, and regardless of my opinion, you had already stated your opinion which is what everyone will be going by in the course of these auctions, and I was stating mine in regards to yours. It was merely a thought, nothing else.

I'll just stay out of it until its all over.

Well, think about this. Is it fair that only a hand-full of people can obtain half of the V-day items, when they only came out like, ALMOST 5 MONTHS AGO. >.> Not even on other sites is it like that, or has been like that. :? Even the Halos were obtainable for a lot of people if they wanted and were dedicated in September, October and November of 2003, so like, that doesn't seem right here, if dedicated users quest here and can't get the items unless they have insane offers that are hard to muster up. :? What unfortunately happened here is that too many off-site traders bought a lot of the items, and then paid the price by getting banned, locking the items that should be in the economy.

I dunno, just some thoughts that I've seen around and thought about. D:

This auction is supposed to get the v-day items down to an easier level.

since your a mod wouldent that make your stuff really easy to get back even if you did her hacked?

Aeris: I have no problem with you being stressed out. I'm dealing with the same issues right now with my family, and preparing for college within the next year. Things just aren't really working for me the way I want them to, and my parents pressure me into everything at this point in time (which is what my journal was referring to whenever I mentioned people repeating themselves; it wasn't directed at you at all).

The thing about my post, is that I thought it may be beneficial for others to know how many items you have, but if you feel that it would be better to keep that number to yourself, then that is what you have decided to do. I will stand by you, whatever your decision.

Shaggy: I don't think it's that simple. I mean, sure Aeris could just go in and reverse the transactions, but if all of the items were taken of the mule, and distributed through various accounts, its not as easy, and I don't think she wants to have to deal with the stress, when she's already stressing about the auctions more than necessary as is. Maybe after the first one is over, she'll have a better idea of what to do with the next one which will lower her stress levels and all that, but if you had say, ten plus sets of Valentine's Day items, would you want to give out the name of the account they're stored on even if you were a mod?

I think it's a good idea. I always wanted something like this to be done on other sites so I was very pleased to hear about this. And of course only on accounts where there is no chance of the owner getting their ban appealed. Like off site trading and things like that. But After this one I dunno if it really should be done. I mean one all these items aries has are gone it would be a lot of work to go through all banned accounts picking out the items that would be of value.
