As long as you don't have any double v-days, you should be able to bid on any thing you like, with the exception of crowns. If you have one of the two crowns, you can't bid on the other one... I hope that made sense.

You did notify Aeris / Zweres that your boyfriend gave you the belt though, right?

Well, you should probably also tell Zweres, just incase Jelly didn't inform him.

But yeah, as long as you don't have the item you're going to be bidding on, it should be all good. 8D

If I have the King's Crown, can I bid on the Queen's Crown?

Lizzle broke the rule of bidding over 1k. Mozzetti outbid Lizzle by 100g, but since Lizzle's bid was not rule-abiding, Mozzetti's bid is bad now too, right?

Therefore, I outbid the bid that was previous to both of these. Is that right?

mocha- Actually, that only counts when a user raises their own bid.
If they're outbidding someone it's prefectly okay ^^;

So you might wanna change your bid ><;;

I was always under the impression that we couldn't outbid by over 1,000 gold either.
Oh, well.

I ALWAYS thought there is a maximum increment. It seems that, it was the minimum bid. lol. (weeeeeks ago of the auction rules.)

I wonder why there is a minimum increment and not the maximum increment in a DEFLATION game?

Yeah, I was almost positive that there was a maximum bid the whole time.

I never actually thought that. xD

But I never thought it was odd, in an auction to stop inflation....

The hairpin's already higher than what it was last bought for.

Well, I would have the say that, the last minutes game is going to be... a REAL timing game.

I think, that Aeris understand people that we are trying to get the item with the price as low as possible, so she never think of giving it restriction of maximum increment.

and that lizzle is a real person that takes risk. Good bravery though.

but at the end, who wins is still a question. :D

The timing certainly will be interesting... it will be 4am here. x]

That risk could easily back fire and teh effort is wasted. :D Depends on the person though.

Or someone would feel impish and outbid that. <.<;;

Yeah, I'm thinking I'll lose more than I think I'll win because I'm rubbish at that timing suff. x]

But I'd be kicking myself and I'd be even more upset if I wasn't even awake at the end of the auction - I'd have even less of a chance!

edit;
Different timezones.

Because of the auctions all ending PST time, I and others cannot bid on the items because we get outbidded whilst we sleep, as the auctions end in the middle of the night for us.

I think it's unfair that they all end at a convenient time for just PST people, whereas it should really be fair for everybody, and their ability to bid on these items should not be dictated by their location.

I think that the auction end times should rotate between various timezones, giving thousands more Menewshans a chance.

I'll ask Lizzle if she has a reason for bidding that much.

Pearl - I know that can be frustrating - but the times are set up so that Aeris and I can get on. What will be 12 PM for someone else would be 12 AM for myself, and I cannot get online at any specific time. We are somewhat limited on time because Aeris is on a hiatus - she doesn't know when she works - and because I have school and many others do as well when I'm at school, its going to be difficult to find a Time zone best for everybody.

Yeah, lizzle's bid was a little weird. I can see her doing it with like... a minute left. But there were still hours. =P

Oh well though. (:

@ zweres:
Would it be possible of another mod would do it?

I mean, the Giving Back is to make the items available to everyone, but because of the timezones, it's only available to the people within certain timezones.

I suppose that would be possible - but since the timezones are so different - what would be 5 PM for them would be like 3 AM in the morning for people in the US. So there are limitations on time.

Oh, I see...

But maybe if it was like rotated? Like every other auction would be a certain timezone-friendly? >>;

I don't know if we have any mods in the other timezones, though. ^^;

:( well, I do understand about the time zones... but... I just sacrifice my sleep? Well, I can say that easily because I am in holiday now...:/

and it is quite impossible to fulfill everyone's time zones needs.
How about asking someone you trust who is available bidding for you? As I read the rules, someone can bid for you... :(
