Who was stuck on the old server earlier?
Earlier today I signed onto Mene, and I somehow logged onto the old server. There was an announcement from Josh saying to all the people on the old server, to try a code or something and it would put you back on the new server.
Well, I logged off the computer and stayed off for the rest of the day, and now I'm back on the new server. Anyone else had that happen to them? Is the problem fixed or did I just switch back on my own somehow? |
I did have that happen for aout 3-4 days after the server change but not since then (thankfully as it's really annoying)

After the server switch, I kept gettin stuck on the Old server. It was FREAKY!
Felt like a ghost town, no one was replying to anything (!), and when I looked at "Who is online" at the bottom of the page, I was the only one! O-o;;; However it fixed itself a while ago. o: Before Josh making that announcment you mentioned. |

I was there too, last Sunday. I wrote a whole thing about how I thought I was going to be stick there and how all of us who are stuck there should build a civilization!

It's done it to me a few times, but i followed Josh's instructions and fixed it.

That happened to me last night. xD I had to follow Josh's instructions and restart my computer to get it to switch back.

It happened to me the other day. -nods- I was annoyed too. I thought it would be like that for a long time. I was afraid I'd lose my stuff and my progress on my quests. Thankfully, it sorted out.

That happens to me every day I decide to check Menewsha... Apparently this site hates me.

It happens to me a lot at home.. and what Josh suggested never worked for me.. that or it never worked.. It was rather annoying for me.

It never happened to me, but I have friends who have had that problem, I recommend them to restart their computer, and when they get back on it seems to fix.

How does restarting your computer affect what server logs you onto it on the website? That doesn't even make sense at all...

Restarting never helped me.... just time...

It did it to me again today. So i shut down and went away for an hour or so. Was ok again when i came back.

Yeah I got stuck there quite a few times. Nothing I did worked.
Everything's cool now, haven't gone back there. Hope it stays that way. :P |

Yes, I know what your thinking here, but right now I'm at work and so on a different computer/internet then when I use my laptop. Really. I was fine, then old, then new, then old, then new and when I tried posting I suddenly went back to the old. That was last Friday. Since then (save for when I'm at work) when I try to log on I still go to the old server. IT PISSES ME OFF! I mean, I've cleared history/cookies/offline files/DNS/refreshed network/everything else under the sun then restarted and it still happens to me. I can't seem to log in at all with my own computer except the old server! CAN ANYONE HELP ME?! Or should I try PMing Mike or someone about this as I seem to be the last one stuck there? |
every so often, say if i come on here in the morning, when i come on later it says im back on the old server. I just forget about it for a while then try again later. Sometimes it fixes itself, others i have to wait until the next day.
