I was sort of enjoying the lack of an avatar for the past weekish... Now today I log on and notice I have an avatar again... bu~... I know I could of gained my avatar by simply resaving it, but I kind of liked it the way it was.

Am I the only one like that? Or were there any other users who purposely hadn't saved their avatar so they would have "no avatar" when they posted?

((The lack of an avatar was created when the server switch was done. People had to resave their avatars to get them to load on the new server. If you didn't your name and stats were present but there was no avatar loaded above them, when you posted entries or replies.))

Well the whole thing is that you were told to resave your avatar. I saved mine when told because I knew it would switch back eventually, and I like having my avatar DX I thought that the server would eventually catch up whenever it had settled, and avatars would be restored. It usually happens with images and stuff like that from my knowledge.

But I don't know anyone who had done that purposely, so I'm assuming that it wasn't very many people. In any case, its back now. I wouldn't worry about having one now.

Personally, I'm curious as to why you stopped wearing items... ;P

Doesn't make much difference to me, I have no clothes. xD

But I'd like to have an avatar rather than no avatar, I mean it's basically what represents me here. :wink:

I like having an avatar even though I have no clothes, and it is kind of the point of the site other than to talk and such.

I didn't resave mine.
In fact, I was having a blast being a little 'X' as I wandered the forums.

I had planned on staying like that.
I was thinking... why not stay like that, see how long I could do that. Maybe turn it into a quest motivator. "Can't change back to regular avi untill you finish such and such quest." (Done this before on 'That other Site')


Then I came back, and I was normal.

I'll get dressed again when I feel like really being part of this site. For now... I'm not really all here... so I don't see a point in it. Anyway it's best people think I'm a newbie... they're more honest with me, that way. ^.^;

my mule was like that.. I just resaved it. I shouldent have.. i coulda been the only person without an aviter in like 2019 lol.. I dont even think ill be here in 2019. :o

As far as I can tell, I still don't have one. As far as I can tell though, I'm one of the few who still gets stuck on the old server over half the time I try to log on.

As for avatars, I don't recall that you have to make one when you first join. So if you really want no avatar and don't have your one mule yet you should be able to make a mule and just not create an avatar for it.

And I do still get stuck on the old server, from time to time, as well. So you're not alone.

What happens when you're stuck on the other server? I remember logging on some times and when i clicked something it logged me off, is that it?

It gives the old server message and says anything I do (changes or posts) wont be saved... So I always just immediately log off...

Aww, well I got back on the New Server finally. But now my avatar has returned. As naked as it is >.> Oh well.
