First it's the forum layout that looks like Gaia's. Now the cat reminds me of the coco. T_________T

What's happening?

The Forum Layout is nothing like Gaia's. At all.

And for most people, any black cat will look like another black cat. It's just a black cat. And the black cat isn't Gaia's mascot.

I think there are many differences between Mene and Gaia, and don't think they should be compared.

• Gaia is run on Phpbb, just like Menewsha, Roliana, and Zantarni. :S So they all look similar forum wise. And the Black Cat was always Menewsha's Mascot

They are all run on Phpbb? I didn't know that....but I meant the front page of Mene. -nod-

We are getting a new front page soon..this is just the default one that comes with the site..

• Oh, I see. :S I don't see the resemblance, but since I joined, the front page has always been the same.

• Mene had the front page laid out like this before gaia had theirs like ours. And in the GD, where there's a comparing other sites thread?

• And to go along with the front page, I do not find the front pages similiar. Then again, GAIA is constantly changing their front page so what is similiar one month is different another. ::shrugs::

• actually, the front page doesn't really look like gaia's at all... at least, that's how i see it. Most people who have been on gaia their entire lives (on the internet), when shown other sites like Menewsha or Zantarni or any others would initially react with "OMG IT'S JUST LIKE GAIA!!" That's probably because they never knew about other avatar sites cuz they've been too busy with Gaia ^_^

Ah, but see that stuff is fairly standard anyway. There's only so many ways you can make something look and still call it forum.

I thought the avi's were absolute love, and it seemed easier than Zantarni.

I can't stand it when people compare other sites to Gaia.
It wasn't the first and it won't be the last.

About the frong page of Gaia forums, well I can see how you say there is a slight resemblance. However, its no big deal. Mene's icons are larger and more colorful. They layout isn't that much alike and we don't have as many forum sections.

As for the black cat.... Its just a black cat. Gaia didn't invent black cats, so I don't see the problem.
I know that sounds silly its just the way I see it. xD

Besides, there will be some similarities anywhere you go.
I just try to enjoy each site because they all have their own unique touch. =)

The cat was Menewsha's mascot ever since December. n.n Notice the cat on the first 500 member shirt. <3

It doesn't look like Gaia at all. >< Gaia isn't the only website you know...x.x

Anyways, actually, it was different before...so yeah. I joined Mene right after the Easter event finished, but changed accounts.

But when you think about it [besides colors] the forums are kinda a like.
