Bad spelling and grammar annoy me too, but I usually just skim right over a post if it looks really bad.

I can understand being upset if the general intelligence level here is slipping, the reason I joined just recently was because it seemed like much more of a close knit community than Gaia. I wouldn't worry too much, since there's a strict no spamming policy here and they can't just "bump rofl" themselves to riches, I'm sure most of them will lose interest in the site. :)

On I forum, I have more time to type down everything like punctuation and everything. Really, I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to spelling, I don't know why.

But when it comes to grammar and other stuff I've learned in English class?

Also, when I'm on a fast-pace chat like AIM or MSN, I usually just don't do punctuation or capitalizing.

Chat speak doesn't annoy me that much. I seldom use it tho. ;) My pet grammer peeve is the run on sentence that never ends! =P

I never noticed that, well maybe because I'm sort of new around here, so I don't know what Menewsha was like before.

Does it really matter if we don't captitalize our things and stuff? As long as we don't write anything too idiotic or has no substance whatsover right? What if the person who is playing this game can't type very well?

I'm not so good at my grammar. I mean, I'm still in year 8! I used to use chatspeak a lot, but I got over that thing. I haven't noticed because I've only been on this website for an hour. I still use Gaia, but not for the chatspeak.

I'm not very good at grammar either...but whenever I browse around the forums, it seems like the people are being literate and n0T t4lk!nG lyk3 d!$ so it's all good. xD It's not really the grammar problem, I don't think..

I've got to say unless it's hardcore 1337... grammar and spelling don't really bother me enough to pay attention to that kind of stuff.

I strive to make my posts more or less grammatically accurate and such since it bugs me to have MY posts all stupid sounding (unless it's on purpose) but that's just me. I don't expect the whole of the internet to do it too.

I have noticed a lot more slang words and text talk on Menewsha.

And I did notice some insults being thrown in certain threads.

I make spelling mistakes here so often that it's not even funny. It happens especially when I try to type fast. I don't have much keyboard skillz, but I despise mindless chatspeak as much as the next person. And I wouldn't be surprised if I was told that my grammar was bad; English is not my first language.
