Excited, Mr. Mayor? Eh, sort of. I really have nothing else to do... except work on that song I've been writing today... I need to start working out a solo (guitar) for it... grrrrr... I should be doing other things, but I liked the last event. The Orphans over in Gaia are a tad bit BORING.

I am very excited as well Mr. Mayor! o.0

I can't wait for the event to start, it's only my second menewsha event. ^^

I jsut hope the items aren't all red, white, and green like how they did on gaia... stupid christian loving site, no respect for other religions. Mene is much more friendly

but red, white, and green and santa items has absolutey nothing in the slightest to do with christianity. If anything, it's Pagan

Most christian customs have a basis in pagan traditons. It made the conversion process easier to just place the christrian holidays around the pre-existing pagan ones. While Yule is typically celebrated on Dec. 25th now to correlate with Christmas, it was orignally celebrated over a series of days starting on the winter solstice (Dec. 22nd this year) and continued, in most cases, into January or until the yule log burned out.

Oh i know, read a log history of all of that years ago. But the tree and colors aren't christian symbols themselves, they are used in conjunction with the holiday. Christmas is about going to church and celebrating the birth of christ. Santa, gifts, and all that other fun stuff is what people affectionately call "xmas" or "santa christmas". It's not christian at all, just often used in conjunction

Mr. Mayor is the mayor of Menewsha ^__^ An NPC, he is the one who handles the Price Guide at the Exchange and works in the events. I've never hugged him before though, might want to ask him.
