So I'd finally saved up the 300 gold needed to buy the Evergreen skirt I wanted. It's still the 27th where I live and I saw that the snowflakes were still on, so I figured it would still be in the special event store. But it's not :( Now it's 600 gold. That's what I get for waiting till last minute.
Has this happened to you with any of the half price items during events? |

That's a good idea Sherbet. I actually just remembered that I had an item I didn't want though. So I'll sell that and then hopefully I'll have enough gold. I'll try a charity if that doesn't work out though.

Fortunately, no. I was thinking of getting a Shell Necklace (150 Gold), but even at full price, the Blue Moon necklace costs far less. So I bought it instead. And I don't regret it. It goes better with the outfit I'm questing for.

well, it happened to me during the halloween event.. but not something that i didnt manage to buy from the store.. but it has to do with the candy that i collected... i still have 13 candies, but i decided to wait until the event is going to last.. ( i know, it sounds really stupid )... but it happened to be that i came late to home that day... so, i missed the event for the last time and didnt manage to 'redeem' the candies T___T |
Yup, I wanted to get the Winter night skirt to complete my outfit. But that's Ok though, I managed to get the blouse and the crown so I'm happy *nods*.
I also wish I could have gotten the Golden Kisses Gown, but I knew I wouldn't be able to save up for that in such a short time. |

I know how you feel. I wasn't online yesterday, and when I went to go back to the store to buy the crown I wanted, it was not in the special event store anymore! It probably shows that procrastinating is not a good thing to do! xD. |

That happened to me during the Halloween event. The items were in the Special Event shop that morning and by the afternoon when I had finished a trade and got the gold, it had already gone to full price. Still haven't gotten that Silver Moon Gown ^^;

That must have been really annoying. I bought all the 1/2 price commons I wanted towards the beginning of the event to make sure I got the discount. Well, good luck questing if you still want the skirt. (Maybe you should check out the Exchange forum. Some users have really good deals on commons.)

Luckily that didn't happen to me... but i'm too impacient to wait till it was over to sell it back because i was building an outfit and needed the gold then... heh

There were other things that I wanted from the event store, but I just didn't have enough gold for them. It wasn't that I hadn't realized it was closed. I talked to someone else earlier today who was still saving for an item from the 50% store. I felt bad letting him know that it had closed. :[ |
I was going to get the Purple Aurora Skirt before it doubled in price. But then I had to go to work before I got the gold saved. >.<; Damn it.
I was also gonna get the red top instead of the blue that I have...but once again, I ran out of time. D: I suck with deadlines. XD; |
*raises hand* That happened to me this time too. I had enough gold to get the skirt first and then I was trying to save up enough for the top. Over Christmas break I didn't have much time to get online so I wasn't able to earn enough money. Now I have to save even more money for the top. ><; *I wish I hadn't gotten the aurora top and just gotten the candle apple set instead*

I was lucky enough to get everything I wanted, actually I ended up feeling like I had more time, just because of where I live. Time-Zones have a funny effect on things.

I havent been able to find enough Snowflakes for even the first item which I really wanted and my gold supply is low so I settled for these pants and hair item. :) I'm ok with it though as I like both :D
