As of lately I've been on a slump here at Mene. I come on, check the debates and leave. Barely posting. I use to post times a million, and now, it seems i barely have the drive.

Anyone else have this problem? Where even though they love the site, they just can no post?

It just seems something has happened here, a change I can't describe, but well, it's making so I don't post as much.

I was active as much as I could be during the events, and I seem to be looking forward to is for the V-Day event.

So, anyone else having a hard time being active?
Enjoying some of the updates and changes?
Feel like singing a certain David Bowie song with me?

Ugh, very much so. Not only because life has been fairly busy. But mostly because Mene just has sort of slowed down and it's difficult diving into conversations anymore. ;___; Which leaves me just to log on, check out my threads, log back off.

When I joined I posted a lot...

But now I just check the threads on the homepage and then head to the Menewshan Exchange.

I'm not active anymore because I can't stand a lot of the people here. I love the site, though.

I get what you mean c0th, I love the site, but some of the people sometimes.

Yeah, it's been slow here lately. Last year at this time it seemed more active than it is now.

I have a hard time being active when real life has me down and depressed, as my friends will tell you, I all but vanished this past week. But when I'm in a good mood in real life I'm super active on here.

Maybe try posting elsewhere for a bit then go back to the debates?

Whenever I feel like I'm 'struggling', but want to continue posting to Menewsha, I find a random Quest or Exchange or even Menewsha Nations thread and make a few posts. Or even greet newbies in the Fresh Meat forum.

All of these expand the numbers of people I interact with, which increases the number of people I'm building friendships with. :3 I've met a lot of people through Events and while those friendships don't always mean we're now PMing every day or posting in each others' threads, it does mean that the next time I see them, I'm happy to see them.

I only experienced one Event on Menewsha before I became Staff, so I don't really have a lot of experience to go off of. But I'm kept busy enough behind the scenes, generally, that one of the main reasons I look forward to Events is to interact on a personal level more with the users. XD;

Anyway. I'm really tired, so I'm not even certain anymore I'm on-topic. >_> I guess what I really mean to say that when I'm not active as much on the site, it's less because there's absolutely no thread that interests me or no topic that interests me enough to make a new thread on - it's because I'm just not feeling chatty in general and I don't make the effort to go out and find conversations.

There are tons of threads that 'die' each day because people who would be interested in discussing them don't go and look for them. ;3 So... When you're feeling burned out, go to a forum you don't generally go to and see if anything stands out?

I`m finding it hard to keep up with conversations sometimes. ^^;
And I`m going on less and less.
Especially with school starting today and all. :O

Hehe, I know the feeling. I've been in that rut for a few months now. Part of it is because of needed lurking for job.. but another part is that... well I don't know.. I just can't get myself to get at the happy medium of lurking/working and chatting so I get that much needed gold I need to save up for V-day and so forth.

It's not so much the site or the people.. many of my friends I started out posting here with though.. has disappeared or become moderated and stuck doing their jobs. xD So.. the ones I used to speak with have either disappeared or have jobs on their own that cause even them to post less. That might be it.. I've been forcing myself to post more in the MN as there's nothing in the GD that even bites my interest level.

*Raises hand* I always have a hard time being active posting wise, whether its because life has got me down or I just can't seem to find anything to post about/on...I would love to participate in a RP but I dont know how to RP  so I mostly lurk and play games on these kinds of sites

Timezones are a problem for me in being active; most people are online when it is the middle of the night here. :<

I agree with c0th too; a lot of the people on here discourage me from posting. I can avoid the lame threads they create, but when they go into threads with people I like, or even invade a forum I enjoy... eh. I can't wait to have a block feature so I won't have to see some people's posts.

Not really, I find that I always have stuff to talk about. Though I find on weekdays Menewsha is pretty dead.

I find it hard at times to post continually when I want to post. I have a drabble too, but there are times i don't feel emotional to actually write a drabble. recently I am trying to be continually very active till V-day items, though I doubt that will work with all my school work.

Drabble writing i feel has to have more meaning at times, so writing for gold is hard to do for me.

I do have evenings when I don't feel like posting- I even had a period of about 3 months where I all but left the site...

But for some reason in the new year I started up a charity and now I'm all active again. At least 80-90% of the time...

Actually, recently I have kind of been in a slump. I guess with all of the past events everything was fun and crazy and I loved it!

But now that everything has started to calm down I'm kind of 'meh' on mene.

I find myself browsing through a lot of threads/topics but not posting as much as I used to.

Every once in a while i become fairly inactive. I think mostly you just have to take a break every once in a while, or it becomes monotonus

Things have been a bit slow here and on Gaia as well.

I thought about going into other forms, but then it's hard to get into a convo and sometimes people don't let you in. Also I forget where else I post sometimes

Gaia has not been un active. It's exploding all the time there.

Whee, for the new items.

Gah, that's why I'm fishing whenever I can. I am a lurker by nature, so I am not "active" at all. I find it rather hard to make gold here. If it weren't for fishing, I would probably have very little gold.

I feel awkward when I go into threads because I never have anything to say because people are never around.

I have a hard time being active on a lot of sites. I make sure to post at least once a day. But sometimes it's hard. Sometimes I don't see very many topics that I have anything to say about. Sometimes I just don't know what to talk about. ._.

There are times when I just don't feel like posting.
So I just lurk and read. Those are the times when I wish we got lurking gold. Hah.

But times like today... I feel talkative and I post. :D
It doesn't usually last too long though. Generally, it's just when I'm tired and honestly too lazy to move the chair to reach the keyboard because I'm comfy.
I am really that lazy that I won't move forward half a foot to type in a message.
