It's a lot friendlier than other sites I have been on, and it feels more accepting to new people. It was a nice suprise but I am finding it harder to gain gold, it's not as easy as other sites but I'm sure I'll get used to it.

I love being able to really custom my avatar's appearance, I want my hair to be like hers!

I somehow found some other avatar site out there. I had gotten bored of Gaia, so I decided to expand my horizons. I found Zantarni, and I met some people who told me they had an account here. So I was just thinking, "I get to join my friends here! It's pretty too~"

Well..first time I saw it was with my best friend. We searched avatar community and Menewsha popped up. She made an account right there. And she didn't come back. @[email protected] I haven't made an account there because I was really turned off by the fact we didn't get starter clothes and gold was hard to get.
Hehe, I'm a Gaian so I'm used to getting freebies. xP
So I didn't bother to make an account...
I just made this account .. nine months after I found this site :rofl: Got mad at Gaia and decided to give this site a chance.
I'm so happy I did. :boogie: I love Menewsha! :heart: The people are just so nice!

Actually, to tell the truth, the first thing I thought on Mene was "What the hell IS this place??"
Heh, this was my first Avatar site, and it was all VERY new to me, and I had no idea what the heck to do :P I got a warning in my first 10 or so minutes :sweat:
But now I'm thinkin', "Help me, I think I'm obsessed!!" :S

I just joined yesterday && yes, I think it's very hard to earn gold. I still didn't get ANY clothes yet xD But that's okayy, I still hope to make friends. Just gotta explore more I guess :]

Well, I've just joined today and my first thoughts were generally positive. The only negative reaction I remember having so far is that I'm worried that I might accidentally break a rule because this place is a bit stricter than I'm used to.

I loved the general layout. I'm a Gaia fanatic, so I have to admit that one of the things that drew me to Menewsha was that it looked enough like Gaia to seem somewhat familiar and yet different enough to be intriguing and new. I love the cutesy avatars and the fact that you can interchange hair here as you want.

Everything seems very clean and well-organized so its pretty user friendly for the newb like me to learn my way around. So, yeah, "thumbs up"! ;)

@Kasumi Ocada ~ We are a bit stricter in our rules compared to some other sites, I won't deny that. But what many new people coming in and even a percentage of our users don't realize is that we do understand that mistakes happen. =3 For most of them, the first time a rule is broken we send out a 0 point warning that expires in 10 days. In truth we consider them more as friendly reminders. They add no infractions points and they're over before you know it..

The only way you can garner actual infraction points your first time round is by knowingly breaking the rules. This include scamming, art theft, rampant spam and the like.

So don't be afraid to enjoy Menewsha. We're not monsters. :)

I don't know that we're stricter compared to others sites in general, just stricter than Gaia. Most, if not all, of the smaller avatar sites have no bumping/spam rules because they've all seen what a mess Gaia is because of slack rule enforcement :sweat:

But yeah... I said some sites. I don't have much experience with avatar sites besides Mene and Gaia. But I think we're fair and open with our rules. ;D

Today is my second day as a Menewshan, and I find it rather nice. I'm also kind of surprised about how hard it is to get gold, but I'm sure with enough persistence I will have a nice little nest egg built up. I came from Gaia, and the literacy is a very nice change of pace.
On the downside, however, I do find the layout a bit sparse. I'll get over it eventually. *Shrugs*

My first thoughts of menewsha was that it was going to be a fun site with cool game people and avatars!

I find it a lot easier to use than Gaia and I find that the people here are a lot more literate too. That's two positive things in my book! The avatars are cute too! :)

I loved it at first, now I don't like it as much.

I really, really, really liked the items.
The avatars themselves kind of turned me off at first, but they don't bother me anymore.
I also love how you can Multi-Equip. I ADORE that feature.

I was happy that all hair styles are free -or are they?-
But I hate how hard is to earn gold .____.

Loved the avis and the items but do wish they had something like Hollywood Hills on Gaia where the Avis could interact. That would be great. Also some basic starter items that werent so expensive to buy. Or a better gold earning system.

well yea like what the other users said, now I'm already realizing that it is really hard to earn gold here :lol: First thing I looked for when I first got here, which was two nights ago, was the blog and when I found it, I was "okay" already.

Then I check the forums and then I found a literature forum, and I was like, woa! I think I'll be spending most of my free time here now... hihihi... reading and seeing other user's craft. A bunch of canny people lurking around makes my stomach thrill, how nice XD

And so over all, I find Menewsha better than Gaia. I've been there but didn't last even for a week because I just turned out to be a freak for fishing... T^T now I'm hoping to have my avatar been dressed up soon, he might catch colds :P

When i first came here i thought that the avatars were a little to similar to gaia's but The forum reminds me of the good old days at planetzot. Back around 2004.

Well considering I just joined Menewsha, I find it really hard to earn a decent amount of gold. D: So here I am posting this message in my naked avatar. But I'm slowly getting used to this site and yeah. I originally came from Gaia so when I came, I was like, "Wow, this place is so hard to earn money." But I'm starting to like it here. :B
