I thought "Omg,forum!NO PLS!11 and hey....Am I going to be the nekkid girl forever?(frigging hard goldz D: )"

I don't know why but I always was afraid of forums.
Here I feel like in home...I can talk something without anyone saying "STFU N00B!111" xD

So,my first impression was...SURPRISING,in an awesome way!

My first impressions were great. When I first joined I expected to have to buy my eyes and hair, just like on Roliana. I also thought I'd automatically have starter clothing like on Gaia and Roliana both, but I was in mah unders, which was a surprise. I can say it was a pretty good motivator to get on here and earn gold to get clothed, though. I'm still new, I think I've only been here a week, so I haven't learned everything there is to learn about here, but I CAN say the fishing game is so CUTE.

Also the avatars on here are more pixelly than on Gaia, which I like a lot. And there are far cooler hairstyles etc. Overall, I like Menewsha the best for its community, and Gaia for its items, though Gaia's getting a bit too sell-out for me.

I shall be literate so I can cover myself up. TT_TT
**I might also rant too...=O

I found this through Gaia, and the ad made me think of Gaia. Since I really have no life, I decided to try it. I must say, the avatars are pretty, and there are quite a few *good* hairstyles. Also, the color options are way more abundant than Gaia's.

My first thought was: Wait. No newb clothes to cover up my pathetic self? I kinda doubted the site then. Then I ventured to the game section, and was kinda dissapointed at how little games there were. Nonetheless, I played the colorful ones. Like fishing and the bodyguard thing. I was a bit confused and frustrated at how 1)I GET GET ANY FISHIES!! and 2), what, I only get one gold per thousand point? So then I kinda went like this: e_o

Also, when I went to the shops, I thought the prices were a bit high. (To me.) So then I went to the forums, and learned you can be literate and make at least...20 gold. So yeah.

i'm pretty much done. Dx

I was surprised with the amazing community and I decided to stay right away. Needless to say, I bought an item to support the site. I hope it never goes down!

I found it on tektek, the advertisement, when I got here it reminded me of how Gaia use to be. I signed up, happy that I had found another site that I could meet some people, then again I expected NoObS to be around every corner. Although the first thing I did was go play the games, it took me seconds to get addicted to them, there so fun ^^

I like this site the people are nice, the games are fun, and the avis/items and amazing <3

When I first joined I was quite excited about the site. It was smaller and much less, annoying, than Gaia had become. Only problem was that then Menewsha was kind of slow, so making money was difficult(especially for me, since I prefer having one place where I can hangout). Anyway, school and stuff happened and I ended up not coming to Menewsha till, well, today. XD -And eet's cool ;o-

I first fell in love with the avatar styles. And the fact that you don't have to pay for new hairstyles like on Gaia. I've been playing for three days and I already love it :D I love how we have simple well-known internet games to make gold with. <.< *Wonders if Bowman (2) will ever be available... because that would be awesome...*

I thought the avatars were cute, which was why I thought I'd make an account and see what the place was like. Then I realized this place is really pretty quiet, but thought it more than made up for it because everyone was so nice :D

Being in my underwear didn't bother me... in fact I'm still in my underwear XD But I've haven't even been on here a week yet.

I actually thought it sucked at first. Only because I couldn't figure out how to change my look. It took awhile, but I did it.

I am actually in love with this place. I think I am going to spend less time on Facebook. I use to spend all of my time on Gaia, then Facebook, but now it is Menewsha. I have a purpose now. Unlike for gaia, when you earn gold you buy cool things. On gaia, you have to pay real money.

Hmm. Strange. I'm new (just joined yesterday) and my impression was nothing but good. I loved the rules on no bumping, double posting, begging, etc, so I instantly knew this place wasn't going to be like Gaia. Not to mention, the moderators and admin actually say hey in the fresh meat forum. They're involved, which is something Gaia's staff certainly isn't.

Not to mention, the community is fabulous. Everyone, for the most part, is willing to help you out, or say hey. It's not like Gaia, where your new and they all type is, "NOOB" in the forum. Which is ridiculous, by the way.

What else? Oh! The gold making system! I enjoy a challenge so having to earn your own gold and not get some every time you click on another part of the site is interesting and fun. It means I have to earn my way, which I like. At Gaia, it was to simple and slightly boring. Besides, who wants to post in a forum where they're only seem to be spammers?

Okay, it seems I'm bashing on Gaia a whole lot, and I'm sorry. I used to be addicted to place and it's highly disappointed me lately. So, I say, I LOVE MENEWSHA! The first impression was great. ^^

Literacy! It exists here, and I am glorying! OwO I'll admit I'm not the most prolific poster ever, and a little shy to boot, so I might have some trouble with the whole being clothed thing... but it's probably good for me, or something like that...? In any case, there are people with brains here instead of mindless spamming automatons! (As you may have noticed, I came from Gaia. xD )

I tihnk my first impression was that the avaters look better and more human like. But i was also kinda disapointed about how hard it was to make gold, but i guess a challenge makes you feel better when you get what your going for.

I was also happy that on Menewsha you can make money from games and there actually fun games :P

Because a lot of our new users are from Gaia so it's kind of inevitable that comparison topics will pop up.

I was put off by the avatars at first, and how "hard" it is to earn gold, and the rules kinda put me off for like, an hour.

But I've fallen in love. I love how intelligent people are here, and I absolutely love the close knit community feeling that is so completely opposite of Gaia's.

I'm not really finding it hard to get gold, but then I haven't wanted anything expensive yet, the gold from playing games is keeping me happy :)

I like the games a lot, especially Asteroids :P And I love the range of colours for the clothes! I like that I don't have to change my avatar to have a shirt I want because everything is in lots of colours and the basics are in lots of shades of those colours too(my hair is the wrong colour, but eh, close enough!). I'm still finding my feet in the forums though and there's a lot of anti-Gaia posts which kind of puts me off(and makes it a bit awkward for me to join in conversations without falling out with everybody xD).

My first impression in general is good, but I am feeling a bit awkward about voicing my opinion >.>

I'd suggest not reading posts as anti-Gaia or anti-Gaians, but just general frustration... similar to how one might complain about a cousin who has their good and bad points. But it's the bad points that are irritating you at the moment. There's plenty of Gaia-love around the forums too. :)

Don't worry about voicing your opinion. As long as it's not a flame, you should be fine. :)

This is actually my first avatar site. I'm looking forward to getting into it, but am also spending a lot of time reading forums on how to use Menewsha. It's still quite confusing to me.

When I first began on Menewsha, I was opinionless at first. I like to keep an open mind, and preferred not to compare it to other sites and forums or games that I had been a part of.

But it's easy to fall in love with Menewsha; the conversations, the other people, the community. I loved all of it and was able to make some good friends quite easily and in no time at all I was participating in events and enjoying myself.

So my "no-opinion" standpoint went from a neutral to a positive rather quickly.

'Well, getting gold is taking forever.
How am I suppose to make gold if I can't spam and there aren't many active conversations?'

Well, those were basically my first thoughts. Two years later, I receive an email from the Menewsha bot thing and decide to check it out. It was when I discovered the pleasures of blowing pixel asteroids to bits on Asteroids that I was hooked. The active conversations and art style are just bonuses.

I love you Menewsha. /hug

Haha, I love asteroids too. Have you tried Space Invaders? I love that one too, I seem to be better at Tetris though(which is weird as I was always rubbish at it as a kid).

Thanks, CK :3
