I think it's easy to earn gold here.

The thing that bugs me, has from the start and still does, is the resolution. My computer MUST be on 800x600, and I can't read posts because they're bigger than my screen. I have to shake my screen left and right, scrolling back and forth, line by line, just to READ what people say. It wouldn't be bad if there was any other way to earn gold, but you HAVE to post.

I have the opposite problem - I normally have my screen on about 1280x960 or so, for the games I play, and because it's a pretty large screen! But then I find that with sites like this that's too large, and the edges seem to overwhelm the actuall content, so have to take it down to 1024x768!

Anyway, what first caught me about the site was the fact that it is fairly new, and had so much potential for growth still! Sure, it may not be as graphically intensive or as layout-user-friendly as some other places, but there's something to be said for simplicity and the previously mentioned room to grow. Plus, this hairstyle of mine is the best I have ver seen on any avatar site!

What made me join was the amazing avies. I too was put of by the gold.

I also find it hard to really settle in though with people here. The only threads I don't pass through is those from Zantarni.

my first thoughts of Menewsha was like it was like gaia i like gaia and this site clothes i need gold to get the clothes on this site but i love this site just as much as gaia and i hope to make many friends on Menewsha just like i did on gaia

I've lurked sites like Mene and Roli for quite a while. I come from Gaia, so every now and then, people post URLs to sites like Gaia and are like, "OMFG, LOOK GUYS!!!! ITZ ANUTHR GAIA RIP OFF SITE!!!!"

I expected Mene to be a rip off site of Gaia, but it is quite different. (:

Well i just joined and yes i'm finding it impossible to make any gold T _ T. I don't like to be naked i just want some clothes. My goal is to get 1000 gold to get a dress i saw at one of the shops.

i thought it was kinda like gaiaonline but it has less noobs hackers and spammers i never wanna go back there again the only thing that is hard on this website is earning gold and everything is so expensive im so used to my gaia account i have everything there lol

I was pretty surprised that we started with nothing. I have never played a game or joined a site that gave you nothing to start with. I was kind worried about having to always have to post for gold. Now though, after about a week I really don't think its all that hard. Plus it really makes me appreciate it when I can get something. And I enjoy posting more now than I ever did. So I am quite happy about how things work on this site. =3

and that there were not many items. and it was ..honestly boring cause there was no one online. >__>;

My first thoughts where I am just going to get the event items and that is it lol. As they come out. It is so hard to earn gold on here. I am normally not a poster I am a lurker. So this is why it was my first though.


I still have not figured out how people make gold at fishing. I have like 120 some experience points but never made anything at it yet. Must be doing it wrong or it is still not pay off time.

My first impression was woah, the avis are a lot taller and skinnier. Then, the hairstyles was free! I didn't play a lot on my first account, which is now lost, but eventually I figured out the goods weighed out the odds.

Yes lol the tall skinny part got me as well. But the detail in all the pixels is what I fell in love with. They are so pretty and not as detailed on any other sight like they are here.

I just wish you could try on clothes and stuff I can not see what those little pictures are going to look like. If there is a way someone please let me know.

Gosh its been so long...I was invited personally by Alexi_Jameson. I was a complete and total Gaia vender at the time though so I really didn't have much to say. I signed up and signed Gabe up hoping he'd like it somewhat. He picked up on it and really liked the small community. I really could have cared less to be honest. ^-^;;

It was like over a year ago. I joined in March of 07.

So um...yes. Mene is much better now. Despite people who complain this site has gone SO SO SO far from when Josh was in control of things.

Well i really first tryed it out because my girlfriend really really liked it and well, (you know how that is guys, right :wink: ) haha anyways....

But yea when i tried it out at first i was kinda like cool cool then i was playing it a little more every day then i just kept playing it and playing it every chance i could and i don't really have anything yet haha, oh but i will i will.

So in my conclusion i really like Menewsha and it is pretty sweet!

they have better looking avatars to use than on most sites i've seen.

I thought it was very sophisticated. for very smart, opinionated forum-goers. nothing much like gaia. and it doesn't seem to be very anime influenced. other than the fact of the menewsha manga chapters, which are cool.
my first thoughts were that it would be hard work.. that I'd have to post a lot to get any gold. and I'm not too big on hard work, therefore I don't have much gold. lol. loser, lazy me. I like menewsha and I look forward to seeing it grow..

I thought it was going to be a crappy version of Gaia -whinces- but now that I've peeked around here for a couple days now, I really really like it!

I agree with the first poster, my initial thoughts were there is no way I can earn gold on here. I am literate but I get distracted easily. I have no intrest in reading enormous page long essay like posts.

I was wrong however there are great posts, and longish without being so long I can't get to the end without losing interest. I am talkative but have never really gotten into the flow of talking in forum format. I like the rapid response in chat or messenger programs.

So first impressions a difficult site, but with cool avatars and clothes. Then I found the conversations interesting and the posting not as horrible. It turns out I am just talkative enough to do alright here.

When I first joined (yesterday) I found that the topic titles were hard to read, and it was a bit harder to make some gold.. Which I personally like. :D Oh, and I noticed it was smaller then a lot of other forums. *nods* But I've gotten used to it all.

My first impression was that this site was going to be another gaia online. I was also afraid because it seemed really hard to make gold, more than gaia.

I like how everyone here is literate though, that it quite enjoyable.
