This place has really really cool clothes! I can't believe it! They are really beautiful. And I found this site from Kinsaki, which I got use to in the concept of a real conversation. In gaia, I never use the forums for talking!

But my mind's still spinning about how cool the clothing is xD

I was attracted by the pretty pretty avatar clothes... I'm overall impressed by the avi's except thier faces. Very limites mouth and eye options. Can't even have different coloured eyes.

I do like the smaller feel and 'work for the gold' here, and of coures it's fresh and shiney and new to me. That, and so far there doesn't seem to be TOO much of a forced THEME for the place, which is great, as I am a Random Fandom and don't like a whole lot of one thing, but a little of a lot of things.

I am new here, and was recommended to the site by a friend from VarusOnline.com

When I first registered, I liked the look of the avatars and some of the clothing options looked really cool.

I was also attracted by the fact that there are free games to play, and forums to post in which I always love doing.

I first felt it was a Gaia rip-off, but then I realized this site is 100 times better in both its community and pixel art. Gaia has gone downhill and now that I can earn some money by playing the games, I'll come back daily.

I love it even more now than ever.
The whole site is so vibrant and eye catching.
It's like being new all over again! It's simply amazing! :D.

I didn't really like the avatars, nor the clothes. And I'm stilled not quite as thrilled about them as I am with the ones of Roliana. But I've gotten over it, because for one I really love the hairs. And, like Roliana, literacy is greatly encouraged, and that is always a plus. I checked it out a few weeks ago, of course it looked different. I was really attracted by this new layout, even though I still feel little overwhelmed over the way the forum looks. There are way too many posts on one page I think, and it just looks cluttered here. But I can still find my way, as I mentioned in an earlier post, and I reckon that is what matters most.

Today hasn't been the best for me here, but I've managed, and I like how unlike with Roliana, the max gold per post is only 15 gold, here it's more, I don't know if by much. I saw somewhere it said max 20g per post. Evenstill, that's encouraging to me, not bogging.

When I first joined I basically was hoping it wouldn't end up like gaiaonline did. This place was paradise compared to that. It was overall sweet, but yes, earing gold was a pain, but I'm getting used to it.

I thought this was a lot better than the last avatar site I tried after Gaia. I prefer the community feel.

First impression, I really thought the small community was nice
and I noticed that there were a lot nicer people here than on Gaia. :]

But it also really bored me at first, still a bit now but slightly less. x]

At first I wasn't too sure but everyone seemed so nice to me in the beginning as opposed to all the beggars and spammers on Gaia so that convinced me to stay. It was a bit frustrating trying to earn gold (and still is) but with the new games it's a bit better.

I think it's kind of hard to find some really good RPs here though... It's getting harder on Gaia as well though. The biggest thing that I love is that most people seem to be more literate (with a few exceptions) and there's not so much begging and spamming.

my first thoughts were that it was a mini gaia... the forum set up looked practically the same, the forum names were pretty much exactly the same, contribution items costs the same $2.50 and there were 2 of them also, the currency "gold" was pretty generic and the same.

i also noticed the lack of GREEN items... :gonk: there was a huge focus on red & pink it seemed.

however, a bunch of dear friends had also migrated here so i settled in rather quickly. it confused me about the no-double-posting rule and a couple other oddities, but was quickly understood. :yes:

my first thoughts, was I was so upset to be stuck in my underwear. I didn't even come back for awhile. Still not sure I like it here that well but I keep coming back trying to like it better.

I came to Menewsha when I saw the tektek ad last October. I didn't see the full picture of the ad because of internet connection. But I clicked it because of the first thing I saw on the ad- a beautiful avatar.

I really liked the avatar. I saw Cherry Flavored Antacid's avatar then because she won the admin's pick. I was marveled by the avatar.

I never thought Menewsha to be a Gaia rip-off or something. I felt beautiful vibes in it. X3

My first thought was: Thank god. This is what I always wanted Gaia to be.

I know a lot of people compare the two because of the similar systems of getting clothes, and Gaia was the only thing I had to compare with Menewsha at the time.

But I was awed with the gorgeous clothes and with the effort to create a forum where intelligent conversation is encouraged and trolls are actively discouraged.

Everyone I talked to seemed really nice. It was like... going to Canada or something. Only with less hockey.

That must've been one of my first thoughts when I joined Menewsha. x3

My first thought was that it was more difficult to earn gold then I was used to, and I really like lurking so it bothered me a bit that I couldn't earn gold for that.
But I got over it and I really like the community feel to this site and now the working for your gold thing has really clicked with me.
Plus I found the games. xD
I also really liked the layout and how it was a good member size, where you could log in and see new posts but weren't completely bogged down after being gone for a bit.
I really like this avatar base and the clothes are really intricate which impressed me.

I came to Mene because I was getting angry at Tom at Zantarni. And like...EVERYONE was joining Mene there. xD

But as it grew, I continue to love it more and more! 8D

I thought the same thing at first. XD Hard to make money here, and a bit hard to get clothes. But I joined during an event, so I was clothed rather fast. After getting used to the site however, I love how nice everyone is (and how literate~ XD). Something refreshingly different than Gaia has grown to be. X3

Though there is one thing here gaia is never going to get.
Its Tertis &&space invaders. These games are help me a lot
more here than they do on gaiaonline.com.

There pinball game is such a ripoff.

I came back a little while later and found it too fun and the people here too welcoming! I love the community now and reading what people write.
I wasn't expecting it to be so fun - having been to gaia before and not having any fun there,

My first thoughts of Menewsha was everyone seems really nice, what a break from Gaia, so I quit Gaia and made Menewsha my new dominant avatar site.

Turns out there really is a lot of fakes, a lot of people who I thought were genuwine weren't, though there's a really high concentration of decent people, there also is a ton of just plain annoying people here as well. This is expected, so I'm not blaming Menewsha in one way for these fakes.

Oh and first I thought this site had tons of potential but I'm rethinking that noticing how slowly this site grows, and how's the tons of competition that seems to be succeeding at faster rates. I like this site, it will probably remain my dominant site for a while, just it's kind of unforunate to think this site might not be around for long (1 year+), especially seeing how there was lack of dedication and commitment from our former head admin.

My first thought? "I WANT THE CHINESE DRESS. AND ALL LOLI STUFF. THIS PLACE IS FUCKING AWESOME."
