most of the time it is topics that interest that i will go ahead and click. usually it will be threads that i feel i'll be able to respond to.
or if the topic title is something that makes me want to know what the thread content is, then i will go ahead and click that topic. |

Well it depends on how busy it is.
Because I live in a different time zone than most peak time for me tends to be the slowest time on Mene. If it is busy I usually stick with only a couple of threads because I find thread juggling hard and I have trouble keeping conversations straight. However if it is slow, I roam the General Disscussion, Community Disscussion, Menewshan Nation and Art Shop threads to post in. I have to say the main thing I look for is at the titles. Boring titles I just pass. |
I usually go on threads that sound intresting for my appeal, things that I know of also.

I think Mene can be a little cluttered sometimes and confusing in its layout. And It should have a search bar so I can find posts so I don't double post a topic. And easy access to my profile.. ehem... sorry thats all :D lol!

Seems like a lot of people are attracted by the same thing, the whole 'dont click here' and the strange symbols, however I also find myself clicking on titles that are more or less just silly for example "Don't touch my banana" was one I went into on gaia this morning.

If it's something that I think will either be interesting to read, or if it sounds like something that I can actually reply to.
OCCASIONALLY I'll click on ambiguous thread titles that aren't specific about what they could be about (Like "Guess what!" or something), but most of the time their vagueness just annoys me so I ignore them. And with threads that say "Don't Click" or something, I like to be a bitch and not click them. XD Don't say don't click if you want people to click. :P |
Something that looks interesting, or just random at times, lol, thats what usually makes me click something.

But like, if a topic was "What's your favourite pet?" then i will most likely not click on that thread, and go somewhere else. xD |

If I think it's something I might be able to contribute to, I'll click on a thread. Sometimes I find out it's not, but especially in GD it usually is and I can earn more gold by finding more that I can post on.

I click on threads from people I know I am familiar with.
If we've talked once or twice, crossed paths...Perhaps even had transactions with one another---then it's likely I will TRY to look for you on Mene and talk to you. It's how I continue friendships with people. So you will find me somewhat scattered. I'm here and there so to speak. Thing is---I'm still trying to get used to being everywhere all over again since I got a little...off from being off Mene much. I miss being so but it takes time to get used to if you know what I mean? If I'm not familiar with then it's on titles that I feel I could learn from -if I don't know anything- or if I feel I could make a significant contribution. I try to skim and read through most posts really... I try also not to do a post and run by checking the next day and going into argument/discussion with people. I think it's rude to just post and run. ^^; I try! |

I hate browsing too! But sometimes, I want to check how they responded to my post....so I have to search for my post over again. I usually don't respond to anything here or in the general discussion, I just post just to express my thoughts. I like to chat with others though, but sometimes, it takes a while for them to respond, or no one is on at the moment....so this is a nice way to earn gold and relax. >>;; |
Yeah, I'm drawn in by the orange... flag thing... as well. I used to think they were tags for new topics, but I guess they're tags for topics replied to on that day.

Lets see. I think the thing I'm attracted to are subjects that I know or can relate to. Things that can give you plenty of semi-intelligent things to say or poke fun at, even if that means at yourself. xD As for THIS topic title.... compulsions from curiousity that I can't stop. +.+ Like the red button that says "DO NOT PUSH" but you just gotta! I look at the title of the topics. If it sounds interesting, I check them out. If I have something to say, I post a reply to the topic.

I like to MAKE topics more than I like to post in them.
But when I'm on a post whoring spree, I'll just be all. 'HOSHIT. A THREAD ABOUT KILLER POPCORN!" <--- was an actual thread that got locked, and go in and read. I didn't post in it or anything but I usually post in anything that interests me or looks like I good read. xD |

for me... i click on topics that look intresting, or who have authours who look intresting... your name makes me want to give you a big hug...
