I'll go into threads that look ormising for discussion, or mostly just things I'll actually bother replying to. If I don't like the topic, I avoid it unless the discussion could be interesting despite my unwillingness to answer the questions myself. |

I go for topics I know something about. I don't click on anything I don't know anything about... Sometimes I look for people who have questions or need help with something, and try to offer advice or suggestions... Typically I just post somewhere to get some gold and move on, though, and don't spend a lot of time discussing things with people.

I will generally look at every thread - unless I have previously looked at it and know it had nothing that I felt I could comment on or that it held no interest for me. Mind you, I don't go into every forum though!

Thread Attraction-ness.
I click on the threads were the title is interesting, or it relates to me. Also when it's funny, or stands out. :D I too am not very fond of going to a thread with so many pages. Then, everyone already knows each other, and I come in all awkward and stuff. I hate it when people ignore you...D:
Normally I don't go to threads with more than 20+ pages. That was in Gaia though. I also tend to click on threads that are brand new. It's fun being the first person at a thread. ;D |
i usually always click on things that interest me or that i can relate to or anything that asks a question ( for example this one) i also like clicking on topics that are really long and alot of people are going to (i just wanna see what everyone is talking about :P )

I will click on anything at this point and try to jab in an opinion on the subject.. Not because I like posting but because I need items and this is the way you make gold here lol.

I like topics that stand out, or have something I like. Just random words will do it. Like bubble or something :)

I am often attracted to new topics...or things that say click...lol hence why I clicked on this topic.
There has actually been quite a few topics like this on menewsha and I think it's a mix of a lot of different things...I do click on a topic of it interests me or if it has anything to do with myself. Sometimes I look at the title and just post something related to the topic. And other times if it's something like a one word title like, 'dude' I just know it's spam and I don't waste my time by clicking on it or even reading it. ^^ |
Well, I just click on the topics that relate to me. Or I click on the ones im interested in. ...Or the ones that say 'don't click here' or something.

i like to click on the one with orangeish tags or ones that i have a chance of answering. so basicaly something that catches my eye.

My curious nature is what certainly gets me clicking most threads. Although, unless it interests me I don't do any clicking.
I agree with the whole random words bit. Some times my brain just reacts to certain words, or colors. Pink. Mmm hmm, bunnies. Cheesecake, hell yes! Okay bad example, but I'm sure everyone knows what I'm trying to say here. As long as I have a decent amount to say about something, I go to the specific thread. Otherwise I just skim it. |
strange titles are usualy what gets me. I don't like it when people put up strange titles that have nothing to do with their forum though.

Umm the title of the topic, if it catches my eye, I read it, but as I lurk, I tend to read about twenty times as many topics as I post in.

I analyze the topic sentence to figure out if I have the ability to post on the subject.

If I think it will be something worth reading and hopefully replying to. For me this is the trickiest side to being part of a site like this. There are so many topics, most of which I think are... pointless. I don't know how else to say that without sounding like a complete a$$. I mean no offence, but I'm not going to lie. I'm not impressed by most of the threads I see, so I don't bother with them. And can I really be blamed? If you're worth as much as you post, then why the hell would you NOT want to respond to a topic that's going to have you writing a paragraph or more? Maybe I'm too money-minded in this case. I really don't have time to give one-word responses, to threads that really, aren't even legit postings.
See now, You asked a good question, so I don't feel like I've wasted my time answering nor looking into this. Thanks for that. |

When they are new post's i go there 30% of the time and older posts 30% of the time and the other 40% is like Topic's with the names like "Don't click/Guys only/Girls only/Not open yet" xD I guess i'm pretty nosey. |

Like most people seem to have said, I generally click on topics that look interesting. Ones that I'll have something to say in. I'm not really drawn to ones that have weird symbols or tell me to "click here", though.
