Actually some time last night I was on-line pretty late where I'm at and there was no staff member on-line...but usually there are one or two at the least. XD

It would be pretty chaotic if riot broke out as soon as all the staff were offline.
On a different site, the only staff member online was a 13 year old mod. She freaked out because this crazy man started posting extremely inappropriate things. I feel bad for the last staff member online. That feeling of guilt that you're leaving Mene unsupervised. xD |
I'm usually the last one visibly online most nights. XD; I try to place my hopes that Jelly or Juru's invisible when I go, though. XD

I often see no coloured names online. But I'm always assuming Jurus online with a hidden status. She does like to laugh at us I is sure of it. I also think sometimes they all just go invisable just to see what the users do :P

I've occasionally noticed that one... All non colored names. Sometimes I want to take a screencap and keep it to memory, lodge it there for kicks but somehow something tells me that even without mods for a while, the community will be fine anyway.
If something like Rage comes and starts to ruin the fun, they come on all as quick as possible and try to cure the problem as swiftly as they can. Besides I seem to have a positive, almost optimistic side when it comes to the staff here and the people on the site. That people without the threat or looming cloud of authority are able to use their reason to guide them to not do anything silly while those in authority are gone. Honor system. But wow... Before we had more staff, I'd very often be the only mod on for hours on end, and I'd have major guilt trips about logging off to go to bed, but I don't think we ever go completely staff free for any great length of time now. And usually the times when staff are absent is when the majority of the users are asleep too. When Yan's finished being busy went his exams and so on, he'll be back on during that transition time. I just realised that it's my Menewshaversary tomorrow! ^.^ |
