I'd say it's pretty impossible to just lurk on mene and earn gold, however if you lurk and play games than you can earn gold I suppose!

I'm a lurker on just about every site I join. I've never been a very good 'chatter', so I guess I'm doomed to failure here. XD It's still fun trying to earn gold, though.

I am usually a lurker too but here I guess I am more talkative ... but I also play games too to earn gold without posting ... with the games it is possible to lurk and still get gold ...

I'm a lurker as well, and I have to say I hate posting cause I may say something that is not allowed with out realizing it, or my views tend to always go in a different direction, I have such a hard time of communicating my thoughts and no one can ever figure out what I mean to say it in the way that I write it that it is nothing but shear confusion. I guess it is the main reason I don't come here often and often feel out of the loops, it just isn't my type of place to be.

I'm usually quite active when I join forums. However, on Menewsha I have no idea what to say haha. I guess I'm just used to more forum categories, maybe?

I'm a super lurker on Gaia.
But on here and Roliana, it's Impossible to be a Lurker, though on here least you have games. which I love, and you earn gold at a reasonable pace too. |

It is sooo hard to earn gold even if you don't lurk! I want to find some conversation in which I can post huge long replies, but I tend to not do so unless it's in a roleplay... Guess I need to find a roleplay is all, then.

I'm still in the process of abandoning my lurking when it comes to Mene. Generally, I'm not a lurker. On Roli I chat like the wind, but here it's just taking awhile to get around to me, I guess.

I'm breaking out of the lurking shell too, I actully like this style of earning gold and while it seems hard at first you soon get to realise how fast you can actully earn gold if you get in to an intelligent converstion with people in the forums.
It makes a change from serving gormlessly on Gaia earning 1 or 2 gold a page thats for sure, I was begining to think that my brains had melted from mis-use. XD |

Maybe.. I don't know, I only seem to be a really active Menewshan when there's an aevent; around then you'll see me on a few threads, but definitely posting several times a minute, even. I got from between 25% to 35% of my posts just from the last two events, I think. |
I'd put it down to the fact that I'm not used to the bigger sites but when I joined Gaia, I just happily began chatting away. I believe I was the same with Roliana when it first started, even though it was tiny, but then quickly I became a social butterfly there (though not as much so as those with 11k+ post counts o___o)
For some reason, Mene strikes me as 'big and scary'. xD -lurks in her shell- Maybe it's because I don't like being seen as a "newb". I'll wait until I get a fantasmagorical avatar and post around like a veteran. xD |
Nowadays, I do tend to lurk quite a bit. But its easier to lurk now thanks to the games. Heck, I tend to make more when I lurk and play games then when I post. XD
