Ha ha - Seiki. ;) I couldn't help but do it the moment I had a moment to go ahead and get started on it... It's a helluvva lot easier to move about our Inventory now, even without the Drawers... but with the Drawers, the experience is positively demi-godlike for me. X3
You should see my folder system on the computer. >_>; And I used to do the same with bookmarks before I stopped visiting so many places daily. XD; @Brokenhearted - Understandable entirely, if you're not so bothered by it as I am (slash) you don't have the extra gold to spare. XD You should feel lucky I hadn't a say in how much they cost, though. LOL. I was pushing for 50 gold a piece. >_> (Okay, 'pushing' is wrong. I suggested it once. XD People much more sensible than I screeched with horror. XD) |

*shrugs* 50 gold might be steep if I changed drawers around a lot.......but my issue is not earning gold for all my posts right now.....I'm feeling the need to conserve. I might indulge in a few more drawers later on. ^^;

Really, quick reply doesn't give gold? ... I've been earning gold all day and I haven't used the traditional "reply" (well, "new topic" currently) button all day...
My gold count is currently: 2045.62 - we'll see what it looks like after I've posted... (But there's the whole matter of me being Staff that may be part of the issue. u_u; ) @Seiki - I'll see if my Netscape browser still has one of my folder-towers in it... I think there was one category that was split down into about six deep... But I can't remember if I did that before or after the last time I upgraded. @[email protected]; EDITED TO ADD: After posting that, my gold was "2051.97 Gold"... So if you guys don't mind keeping an eye on the differences between non-Staff posting with Quick Reply and non-Staff posting with the traditional Reply button, that would be very useful... Then you can report it in the Bugs forum if it holds true! |
I agree, the new inventory arranger is amazing. I sorted my stuff by position on the avatar and have 10 drawers.

No - You can earn 50 gold per play, unlimited times per day. XD
As in, you can earn bajillions and gabillions of points and still only earn 50 gold. But you can play as many times as you like to earn 50 gold each time! |

I haven't gone into do it yet, but I've been doing a lot of thinking on how I want to arrange things.
Currently I think I plan to do this: CIs EIs Tops Bottoms Dresses Feets (shoes, socks) Headgear (clips, hats) Accessories (jewelry, handhelds) Duplicate Items (for selling!) That's going to cost me a nice chunk of gold so I'll probably slowly build up to this organization. I don't really have enough items at the moment to make it work it anyway! |
I've only just started arranging my inventory, still a bit miffed by the fact that we have to pay for any drawers above the first three free ones (and please dont parrot that line about how you can play the games loads of times to get gold, I don't want to spend all day playing those thanks )
Right now my main inventory has everything that doesnt go into my three drawers; Tops/Dresses Pant/Skirt/Belt Shoes The latter one will probably be shoes/socks later today |
I just have the main inventory drawer. I organize by color. It would take forever if I wanted to organize by size or position. I might add a drawer for event items later though, but probably not. I like seeing all my items in one place.

I have 3 drawers added, CI's, EI's and Commons. I was going to colour organise it like White, Yellow, Orange, Pink, Purple, Blue, Green, Brown, Grey Black. Like I do on gaia, but considerings I don't have as many items as I do on gaia, I just sorted it out through CIs, EIs and Commons. ^^ |
Sorry, I fell asleeps. XD Yes Seiki, I am using the quick reply and it earns me gold and sometimes it doesn't. It can almost seem random when I don't earn gold and other times, I'll post 4 times and none of them earn gold. ^^;

I love the feature but am a total slob and haven't rearranged anything except the contribution sets yet. I'll probably arrange my commons by layer, and color if I have enough items. xD |
I've only got the three free drawers so far--I've got one that holds what I wear most often (King's crown, Panda slippers, vampire teeth) so that I can get to it quickly, one for tops (shirts and coats) and one for bottoms (pants, skirts, socks, belts, and boots). I look forward to getting more; it's a great system.

I don't have much of an inventory right now, but I know I will arrange by colour and then by layer (head, hand, etc) and I will find it highly usefull. On gaia I have a ton of objects, but I can't find them sometimes when I'm dressing my avi and their sorting is a bit.. pell mell. So this is a gooood thing.
